I wrote this the other day. It seems to fit how yesterday was: Frustrating! "Yesterday was...... frustrate the bean day! :o :shock: :shock: another one of yellows and pinks.... and I think I may go bald from all the hair pulling. :lol: :lol: What a frustrating yellow and pink day.... Mannie on the other hand feels great. I say "dosecrease" and he says "whatever". :shock: :lol: Seriously dude... it is coming! Clear the bounce and then, well... you know.... Lubs ya big guy, but seriously we need better numbers - like those blue ones and those green ones. Go for it!" It is so difficult when we have such nice blue days, so close to green days, and hen spend the next two or three on the pink and/or yellow floor. So..... once again we will see how well he clears this yellow/pink stuff, will add some more juice when I know I can be home to watch him. SO Mannie : BLUES and GREENS, 'K? Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D What a beautiful day in the PNW yesterday - everywhere there was sun, and warmth, after a cool morning start. We all, including Mannie, loved it! :razz: Mid 60's here mid day. YAY! Mannie and Nicholas had a good morning. Seems that THE VOICE and THE SPEED RACER decided to be the cool calm and collected little guy he was a few weeks ago. SO Mannie spent the morning upstairs with his best buddy. They shared a nanner or two, a few bites of breffis and some general calmness. SO went the morning..... now the afternoon? :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: We got home from our river trip, and nicholas heads up the stairs, and at full volume starts calling " Mannie, Mannie, Mannie....!!!!" ZIPPPPPPPPPPPPPP went this black flash downstairs to the basement. :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: Well, at least they got the morning together. :cool: This morning we had a great test, feed (YES!!!!!), shoot and clean plate club , purrs and a few cuddles. :cool: Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D

Have a great day everyone. I am still on DGS duty today - I will try and get to condos once DGS has gone home for the day. Today we will swim in the morning, and visit a local river park, or just a park in the afternoon. Paws crossed that Mannie gives us a permission slip... I will miss you guys, and your furkids! Be good kitties! think blue, think green! :cool:

It's me....Mannie! well duh I guess.... hey I was thinking.. it would be co=so cool to have a road trip and just visit all our friends, especially our buddies that aren't feeling so great. Morning Michelle and yum on the White peppermint Mocha, and it seems Mannie favors the Salted Caramel Mocha! :-D Maggie says that's a good one. Sorry on the yellow and pinks day, and they sure can cause us some gray hairs at times. Mannie, you're not too far away from the blues, so let's give it a try. Beautiful pics of Beckler River, and the third pic of DGS is priceless. I love that one with the big smile. I bet his Mom does, too, and what a keepsake with all the pics. Have a great time today. Mannie, I bet your little pal will be all calm today. Thanks on the links, too.

Mannie, great idea with the road trip and visiting all our friends not feeling good. We need to check on Tarragon, Rocket, Tobes and who else am I missing? I'll bring fisins for some cookies. I'll think of which ones to make, See you, my friend, at the curb., Mags

Morning Ann ~O) ~O) ~O) and from Mannie - you own salted caramel mocha -----> ~O) They are good - those caramel mochas. a basic mocha with a hint of caramel. Quite testy actually. Yep on the yellow day. we are started there again today, but hope he will find the blues. If the pattern holds, he should. Thanks on the pics. I really like that sot on the river - it is so pretty there. The fall colors should hit that section in a few days. Then it will really be gorgeous. Thanks on the last pics - his mom did like it too. Such a great smile! I see it alot, but often can get the pic taken soon enough before he has taken off. :lol: yes - I hope he will be calm today too. so so part of being almost 2. ;-)

MAGGIE!! awesome, and let's do it then. I bet with all of us thinking we will remember them all... it will be fun! cool then too on the cookies! I'll bring the bus so we can bake will we travel. WOO HOO! An adventure! See you at the curb ~~ Mannie

I read your condo's and i wonder where does all your energy come from Michelle?!?! On my weeks off i get tired changing out of my pjs into regular clothes :lol: :lol: I'm jealous and i wish i had your energy.

Mannie, dude, time to bring your numbers down or else you are going to get more juice! And stop frustrating your poor bean too.

Michelle, I share your feeling of frustration. How do you find Mannie? appy good? Lb action normal? Coat sleek? Don't worry, he'll come down.

Mannie you need to come back down to some blue. There's a dosecrease threat out there. That's nice the Mannie and DGS got to have a calm morning together yesterday. Hope you have a good day with DGS.

Hi Carla - I AGREE! more juice on the horizon. and yes it was on the morning for Mannie and Nicholas; Mannie was grateful, DGS got what he wnated, which was Mannie time. He just has to learn that warp speed and an older cat just don't mix so well sometimes. :lol: :lol:

238 @ PMPS. well still yellow, and I fattened his dose. we will see if that helps to jump start him. We get some really great blue cycles, but haven't seen green in a very long time.... Work it Mannie: more juice for you.

Nicholas and I had a very good day today - swimming was just so fun. I have to drag him out when it is time to go. He simply does not want to leave. We went to a beach near the house today. It was one of those "perfect" days there. Beach was deserted, warm, sunny, sand was great, seaweed minimal. Kid had a blast. Played in the creek, rolled in the sand, was just a kid. awesome stuff. I will post some photos in Mannie's condo tomorrow.

Hi Melissa - The bean did mean business. :-D I came home to more yellow, so we fattened the dose. :shock: Now watch him dive tonight. Sheshhhhh..... and thanks - day as great!

Mr T! DUDE! I am on my way!!! we will whisk you away! In the roadster! I'd put the top down but I'm afraid that the winds would whip that thing on your neck every which way. uhhhhh.... don't want you sucked out of the car, ya know? Hi Michelle, Great pics from yesterday. I guess it is finally time for Mannie to get that doscrease, and maybe this time he won't do the dive-bounce-dive thing. Good luck with it.
It is great that your weather continues to be so good, so un-PNW like!!! Enjoy it! I hope you'll have some fabulous hikes this weekend. We are expecting more rain, but hopefully by Columbus Day we will have sunshine. It is the "official" end to our paddling season and we always go to the Bog River Flow and have a picnic (but of course we'll be "unofficially" paddling well into November, if the waters are still free of ice).

Hi Ella - It is time on the dose. I have the weekend, and why not. haven't seen green here ins ages... I wanted to increase a while back but just couldn't get the timing to work, with life and his bounces. THX on the weather. It is so unlike us, and we won't complain. We are about to set another record too. Next 10 days forecast still does not have any rain, or clouds for that matter. I hope so too on the hikes - will go Sunday I think, maybe monday too. :cool: :cool: I so hope that you guys can paddle well into November. that would be co cool!

Well Mannie, time to show what you can do with the extra drops. I believe green has been requested, nay, demanded! You know we all want to hear more of the BMG. The yellow Mannie isn't nearly as musical and no one dances to it.

Good luck on the dosecrease Michelle. I'm glad you found a time to do it when you could monitor. In the time I've been on the board I don't think I've seen Mannie go up in dose. Is he an NDW kind of guy? That +2 does look disheartening. But at least today's numbers got you out again in this beautiful weather. Nothing worse than low numbers and fabulous sunshine.

Hi Wendy - Me too on the extra drops. I so concur, and have told him so, that a yellow Mannie group has no crowd appeal. we all want the BMG :-D :lol: Maybe that will convince him. THX - I so hope that the extra drops will get him back on track. He used to have such great cycles... and you are right - I don't adjust doses alot with him. He doesn't handle aggressive dosing well, dives alot, just bounces hard in return. I have found that with him he needs alot of time to settle into a dose, and If I give it too him we get great results. I just think that for whatever reason this past month he has lost what he gained. So maybe a jump start will get it back. ad yes - we do have the NDW: happens(ed) all the time with him, and it can take few days for it to run its course. -- and yupp - with numbers like today we went out - sure can't waste this good weather! :-D You are right also: that +2 was so disheartening,.. My heart sank.

Hi Rhiannon - TRUE! And so I told him. Perhaps a bit of NDW here. I hope I measured it ok... another variable... Maybe he will head on down overnight - sometimes that happens with him. We hope to wake up to blues,
