Happy Saturday!!

Yesterday's condo

10/4 AMPS=122; +2=103; +7.5=119
10/4 PMPS=131; +2=79; +3.5=101; +5.5=106

10/5 AMPS=110; +2=67; +3=43; +3.5=70; +5=83; +8.25=106
10/5 PMPS=121; +2=106; +6=119

Lucy is still feeling great!
Her appetite is good - She ate half of her 1st breakfast by herself, and the rest by finger-feeding but ate really well.
Her poop this morning was part solid and part pudding... so maybe improving slowly.....
I just don't know where the pudding is coming from.
I even took her off Allerplex for now in case beef is causing it, so no tuna sashimi either.

I still feel really tired and wanted to go back to bed for the second time this morning, but after the 67 at +2, I'm not taking a chance of sleeping through an alarm.

Again, thank you for the additional info, Lara & Wendy, about the vitamin E.
I'm going vitamin E hunting later today unless it starts to rain badly.
(And thank you Wendy for the info on the dental care treats. )

Sienne, Josie, thank you for mentioning Fortiflora.
I have been giving Lucy ReNew UltimateFlora for the past week, but I think I've been giving her too little.
I was afraid of discouraging her to eat by adding more. (She'll detect I'm mixing some stuff and becomes suspicious of things I give to her.)
Today, I was successful at adding FortiFlora to her 3rd breakfast!
She normally dislikes the taste of FortiFlora, but today she was so happy to eat she compromised.
So this is what I'm going to do.
On days her appy is very good, I'll add Fortiflora, and on days her appy is so-so, I'll add ReNew, which seems to affect the taste of food less.

I'm also thinking about moving her prednisolone time from evening to morning.
I think the steroid is holding her back, and I want to use that effect in the morning when I have to go to work at some point.
From the possible bounce she had earlier this week and possibility of her BG going too low on the day before, I have lost the little confidence I had accumulated on determining when I can leave home.
So having her go low at night is less stressful for me mentally even if I lose more sleep.

I hope everyone's having a nice day!
Oops, time for the +3 test!

43 @ +3.
Gave her a table spoon of LC with teeeny drop of karo.

Re: 10/5 Lucy AMPS=110;+2=67;+3=43;+3.5=70

I'm glad Lucy is feeling great and her poos are firming up.

Re: 10/5 Lucy AMPS=110;+2=67;+3=43;+3.5=70;+5=83

Looks like a busy morning. I hope Lucy surfs there for a while for you!   Great news on the appy today - hope it continues.

Good idea on the pred on the morning. I too prefer to sacrifice a little sleep if it means safety.

This sounds like a nice day for Lucy! Too bad you couldn't get back into bed, Mariko!
I like your idea of changing the pred times, and hopefully that will give you a bit more sleep during the weekend, anyway!

Great day for Lucy, even eating on her own!  At first, Tillie didn't like fortiflora but now she does. Maybe Lucy will come to like it too.

Just came back from my shopping!
Lancets CHECK!, 3oz Wellness Turkey CHECK! (Lucy's favorite consistency, Thanks Wendy), Freeze dried treats CHECK!
Aaaand Vitamin E CHECK!!!

I got the NewRoots brand Lara used, and even better I got it in 200IU.
The 400IU is just too concentrated and would have been too difficult if not impossible to measure 50IU Lucy needs.
In addition, I also got this liquid Vitamin E, which I though might be good too.
Nothing fancy in it, just sunflower oil, but I'll have to figure out how to calculate the dosing....

Lucy is looking good today. I'm glad she's feeling good. I hope the pudding poo gets better.
