Herman had some good numbers yesterday, even with the over-zealous administration of gravy by dh. :joyful: Herman’s chin seemed slightly “leaky” on Wednesday, with a think a little bit of blood. I’ve been cleaning with hydrogen peroxide and occasional dab of dermagel and it seems to be improving. Drying up and overall scabby area shrinking. Will continue to monitor closely…still not positive if it is acne, a wound, could have been infected tic? Wasp sting? Who knows….
….am shot was late because Herman was not overly cooperative. Nothing like waiting 45 minutes at 5 in the morning for your cat to allow you to go near him.

Ah these temperamental kitties ruling our lives. Love a good chase and begging for cooperation at 5 am.
Be kind to your mama, Herman. Show us some more :D

Have a great Friday, Amy.

I’m worried the day will come where he just decided “no more needles”…I wonder if tranquilizer gun type darts would work :D

Omg I almost choked on my coffee.
I can truly envision this … as well as the skank eye than would follow. I might sleep with one eye open afterward if I were you—cats can be quite resourceful when plotting revenge… :joyful:

Oh Amy, sorry to hear you had a rough morning with giving the shot. I now it can feel quite anxious.
I'm happy to hear the HP was helpful. I've never heard of acne for cats, but then I haven't heard on diabetes either lol. A tick would be more local and would not get better with HP. I'd say that a sting would also be local.
Hope you too get a quite, lovely day :bighug:
