Yesterday's Condo

So looks like we have decided to come down. The DH tells me this morning though that the day he got into the 500s he may have given a partial furshot (great thanks for telling me). Today is a beautiful day in the "Ham". Waiting on Glass Masters to come and change out my windshield. Got chores to do (fun on my off day) and then taking my Mom to the library. So busy day. Hope everyone has a fantastic Friday! :-D

Yeah wish it was only chores that tired me out today. I have had a HORRIBLE day! Was supposed to get my windshield replaced and the guy came to do it and said he cant because the frame of the roof/windshield is rusted out and it wont hold. So we take it to a body shop, rent a car, and get a call that the whole roof needs to be replaced.....$3000!!!! The truck is 10 year old and the blue book is only $3300 in fair condition (she has 224,00 miles). So we bring it home and going to see if someone else can just patch it. Then the stupid office calls and they gave away a Kindle Fire HD yesterday and now the winner said it is registered to someone else. Well there is no way. So I look it up and yes, Amazon registered it to me. So, I deregister it and then I come to find out the name that was on it was Karen. Uh, my name is Donna?? Then I find out, they took the damn thing OUT of the nice black box it comes in. Now, we have someone at the office named Karen.....you tell me, do you think maybe someone played with it before they gave it away???? So yeah, HORRIBLE day and its not over. So if I cant at least get my frame patched, guess I will see if I can get another vehicle. And considering I never know if I am going to get paid or not each month makes me very very nervous to even buy something else. Hence the reason I still live where I do. I should have never taken today off. Didnt get to take my mom at all. I feel horrible!

Yeah, Doogle always makes me feel better (he is my baby). Hopefully my ex son-in-law is going to be able to fix it enough to get the windshield back in. He owns a body shop but I didnt think about him when this happened. Also didnt want to drive 20 miles away with no windshield and not know if he could help. He came by this afternoon and looked at it. At least Doogle did well today! Think I am going to go take a hot shower and try and relax.
