10/4 Tucker Down Under AM: 226.3

Tucker will do ANYTHING for more food. When we feed him I don't think he even tastes what he is eating, he gobbles it down so fast. I feel like we are starving him because he can't seem to get enough food. Yesterday I found him in the kitchen sink eating a couple of pieces of lettuce my husband had left on his plate after dinner, it had been dressed with balsamic vinegar. His latest 'naughty' moment? I had a friend over and we had gone into the kitchen to make some tea. Came back into the lounge and found Tucker's head inside her purse. He had found a roll of cough drops, managed to chew one off of the roll and was in the process of doing his best to eat it. She had red, sticky cat slobber inside her handbag....awesome work Tuck! His BG shot up but other than that, he seemed fine. Mentholated cough drops? That's weird, even for Tucker.

I don't think Tucker knows he is a cat and is supposed to have food attitude.

Does Tucker have a weight problem? If he's that hungry perhaps more food (his kind of food) is the order of the day? If he eats too fast you could try spreading it out on the plate...

I always liken it to human diabetics...they're told to eat small meals throughout the day - helps to keep their blood sugars level. Perhaps he needs to eat more often?
