The positives:
Smokey's LB issues seem to be getting better. I got some psyllium for him while I'm waiting for the FlortiFlora. We've had some solid poos- he even tried to cover the last one!
Additionally, his BG seem to be great and he is one happy kitty.

The negatives:
Smokey decided that I don't feed him enough and that he was just STARVING at 1:45am last night. He is at a great weight and his body condition looks excellent so I'm not too keen on upping his food too much (he gets 1 can of FF BID plus FDCK and FDS for treats at shots). Keep in mind that he is NOT an active kitty so his calorie needs are likely lower than other cats. Last night I gave him a few pieces of FDCK and tried to ignore him- not easy. You'd think I was just the meanest Bean around- starving a poor kitty like that. Stinker!

My thoughts go out to Emily on the passing of Tableau and also with Patti as she is dealing with Fiona's and Boris's health issues as well as all of the kitties and beans who are in stressful situations.
 
Hi guys .. Nice numbers smokey! Glad to hear LB activities are improving .. sorry to hear smokey was "starving" last night .. Thankfully our kitties wait until the morning to come complaining to us about how hungry they are .. then we hear all about it! Hope you guys have a great day!
 
Hi Gwen!! Glad to hear the LB issues are resolving!!! Smokey and Champ eat the same amount...1 can FF b.i.d. Because he's a whiny baby, I also give him 0.5 oz chicken breast that I nuke for 10 seconds (so it stays a little raw) at +9 or +10 each cycle. It only adds 22 calories to each cycle and gets him off my back!!! Even with that amount of food, I can't get him down lower than 18 pounds!!! Champ's a lump, too. Maybe he and Smokey are long lost brothers!!!
