Shadow got purry , waking me up at +10 this morning , trying to convince me it was eating time, so she got a test and a bunch of freeze dried
turkey bits.
DD slept in recliner here in room with me last night since she was feeling nauseous again. We thought it best for her to stay a little more
vertical. Unless I slept thru it, it seems to have worked.
I am still wondering why we got such a high pmps ( for Shadow)
Someone did bring flowers for dd about 45 minutes before that PMPS and the droolers barked at doorbell and stranger.
Luna (tic) wouldn't shut up and got locked in bedroom.
Shadow normally bolts when a stranger steps in the house but she did stay where she was, out of sight, she could just hear visitor talking.
Shadow used to always give her 2cents when our previous dog got scolded. Shadow always had to jump in and add her own scolding.
It's almost like she would shake her fist at the dog (italian style) and chase the dog around the room. :lol:
She has done that with Luna but Luna is young and has also turned back on Shadow and snapped. I watch carefully and we give Shadow
back up. We want the dogs to always be submissive to Shadow. But Shadow obviously doesn't feel as strong as she used to.
I think the next time one of the dogs gets scolded , and it gets Shadow's attention, I'll test her 30 minutes afterwards and see if she
goes up in bg.
I might make Luna wear some of that rescue remedy that I haven't tried yet to see if the very existence of our droolers is bothering
Shadow. I feel like it's at least part of the reason Shadow doesn't come to our real bed anymore but she sleeps just fine in the other
room with me on the sofa bed.
Last winter , she was sleeping in the regular bed with us and Luna. But she left pretty much when she started feeling the effects
of diabetes and rarely comes to that bed any more.
I've got to get my Acme hat on and figure all this out.....

They are all too cute! Shadow sure had a nice slide today. Glad your DD is feeling better. She's really been thru a lot. Sending her some feel better and healing vines. Shadow, keep surfing those greens. :mrgreen:
