We are back! I arrived back from DC this afternoon to a furry purry happy boy. I suspect that DPS had a fur shot (or two) this weekend... numbers were great Saturday, but went downhill from there. Hoping he'll be back on track soon!
DC was great. So sore from playing tourist yesterday... and humbled that while we were already complaining after just a couple miles (we estimate we ultimately walked close to 12 total yesterday alone), others were running the marine corps marathon.   It was just so wonderful to have some girl time with my best friend. DPS left us a full report and we'll be catching up the spreadsheet soon. All in all, she did really well, and I could tell that having her here did wonders for Willie, if not his numbers, as he hasn't skipped a beat.
Had trick or treaters tonight for the first time in years and years (living in the hood isn't exactly conducive to giving out candy to small children), so i was very excited. Willie... not so much. He seemed quite perturbed at the number of people arriving at the door, though his Aunt Amanda did take him out to greet some of the trick or treaters, who treated him with pets. We've now assumed the BTC position and he is purring like a madman. Willie is very excited to be heading off to tonight's Halloween Party, where he'll be seeing his dear friends through the veil... particularly his sweet Miss Belle.
hope everyone's halloween has been spooktastic!!
I tink Head Coach Bill Snyder wud rather haz de cuddles from me. I iz fluffier mascot!!!
