Happy Halloween!

We just finished buying trick or treat candies and other goodies for tonight. We usually get about 200 trick or treaters here by 8:30pm so my son & dil bring little Jesse over and make this their base for trick or treating. :razz: Tonight will be busy. I've never lived in a place with so many before.

I don't know what's going on with Racci. She started out low yesterday, flew all the way up to yellow, and is green this morning. She acted like she was in pain this morning when she was sleeping but it could have just been a dream also. All of a sudden she cried out in her sleep twice. When I reassured her she turned and saw me and was fine and went back to sleep. She's had 3 Adequan shots now and is on her second week. I wonder if the shot has anything to do with it since she had the shot last yesterday. Racci wanted to play first thing this morning and was lovey dovey with me. All p's have been shown except a poop yet. Hopefully that will come soon. She was hungry and ate but not a lot. Again she's farting. Her bottom looks clear. It might be the food again. I have to find out where her new order is and hope it's the old type food.

200 trick or treaters! And i thought 100 was a lot!!

I am getting a google drive error when I try and look at your SS. Do cats get nightmares? Or it could be a cry of joy .. just saw a big mouse or something. I imagine if she really as in pain she would have woken up and gone to hide or hunch over or something.'

Sometimes our civvie cat snores.. very cute.

Hi Melanie, Nice green Halloween for Racci :mrgreen: its great that she is lovey dovey. Ours cats all snore, often loudly, DH says they get that from me. They have restless dreams sometimes too, paws and legs and tail twitch, jaws move, little noises, really pretty cute.
Our street is a bit of the way and we rarely get any trick or treaters at all, though of course we got some candy to keep on hand just in case :lol: . Good luck with your trick or treating!

Nice greens for Racci. Poor thing on the farts. 200 is a lot! It sounds like fun though. Happy Halloween Melanie!

wonder if her gas is a little painful.....

I remember there were some drops for babies , maybe someone make a pet product but here's the one for infants.
If it became more frequent.....

Hey, Melanie -

I don't know what kind of dreams cats have. Oreo sleeps like a log, but Hershey makes noises and movements like he's dreaming.

Nice AM cycle, Racci - I hope it continued! Hope you get the food/gas straightened out soon.

200 trick or treaters? That IS a lot! I saw some people posting on facebook about the large numbers of kids, running out of candy and finding creative substitutes like yogurt and muffins. I had one friend post that they went to a house giving out seafood ramen noodles! :lol:

Hi all!
I've been really busy with my trick or treaters. We had the same mob scene as usual. It's amazing how many kids come here. We're on the main road here so that's part of the reason we get a lot of kids and one of my neighbors always does a big thing for the holidays with decorations and hayrides, etc and takes a bunch of kids out trick or treating so that helps this block keep busy too. We get trailers full and pick-ups full and 1 or 2 parents walking with 10 or 12 kids all night until about 9:30.

Hi Wendy, I checked the ss and there's nothing wrong with it other than I have to update it. Google has a lot of problems. It will probably come in if you try again. I know cats dream so if they have good dreams, they can have bad dreams too. Racci usually doesn't hide when she's in pain. She usually comes and tells me. That is cute, snoring. :-D

Hi Leslie, Racci does that occasionally but not too often. That's so cute when they move around a lot and cry out. Racci does cry out a lot in her sleep & scare the wits out of me. :lol: We'll be sitting nice a quiet and all of a sudden she'll cry out in her sleep. I love to watch them dream.
My son & dil are on a quiet street even tho they're in the same development, so they always come to my house so my dgs can see all the kids trick or treating and go with the crowds to the houses here where everyone is prepared for them. :lol:

Hi Melissa, I don't know how long she managed to stay green. I was too busy to test her so had to feed her twice without testing. My bell was ringing every couple of minutes. I refilled my huge halloween bowl to the top 5x and still ran out of candies and toys by 8.

Hi Rhiannon, I wouldn't be surprised if that's what it is. That sounds very likely. I think I'll check with the vet about gassy meds. Maybe the Pepcid would do the trick. Kid's meds usually have a lot of sugar and salt. She's constipated again so her greens aren't going to be steady until we get her back on track. She hasn't gone all day today! Bummer!

Hi Libby, I haven't spoken to you for a while. I hope all is well. I know exactly what those people mean about running out and looking for substitutes! One year I gave out quarters. Now I buy cheap sticker books that can be cut apart and just give them each a half or quarter page or so. I also had little rubber bugs for them and spider rings. I went through everything! It's crazy! How much can you spend??? :lol: :lol: :lol: The kids really enjoy it though and it's fun to see them all dressed up and proud of themselves.
