Do you mean that you fed Lucky an hour before shot time? If so, you do not want to feed your cat within 2 hours of shot time otherwise, the pre-shot number may be influenced by food. It looks like you shot a dropping number. Please get a a test in 30 min and another at +1.
 
I know I am not supposed to feed before I shoot but I wanted him a little higher as I figured he might drop anyway. I haven’t shot yet. Forgot to take that off my ss. I am going to wait a half an hour and then shoot.
 
Ok, of course this black cat today would do this to me- don’t have enough on my plate with my chemo cat so he has to throw this at me?!:confused: I have not given him his shot this morning. Half hour late. Just fed him a tsp of HC with some MC. I’ll retest in 20 minutes but I guess he earned another reduction today? Start with 4.5 this am? @Sienne and Gabby (GA)
 
So I feel some pinks coming on through the night bc of the shenanigans this morning! Although I just realized I shot my normal time whereas this morning I was an hour late. Oopsy!:banghead::confused:
 
Looks like good sleep tonight! And hopefully Lucky will be safe while you are at work the next few days.

As for what to do in future, I would have shot at +12 when he was at 67, and still in safe territory. Your other alternative is to test at +10, and feed then to try to keep him a little higher for PS time. That still gives you two clear hours to preshot so the number then would not be food influenced.
