all is well with punkin this morning. breakfasts #1 & 2 down - a nice morning nap, the world has been surveyed from the top of the coffee table, and one attack from anya fended off.
our son surprised us with a visit last night -needed a little parental support to counter the "i can't find a job" blues.
i'm thinking punkin's cruising towards a dose decrease before long.
i think we're going to stop giving the bupe. we're almost out of it. i really can't tell any difference in him after we've been giving it to him for 8-9 days. we were giving it to him because often acro cats have pain, but he still doesn't really want to be held, stair-climbing hasn't seemed to change, his numbers might be a little lower but we also have the potential that the SRT is beginning to affect his numbers. with the bupe doses that i've skipped, his numbers don't seem to be higher.
the vet suggested accupuncture and i'm thinking of trying that instead. i'm also unsure of how good the bupe absorption has been - i have to get it on his gums to be absorbed there. oddly enough, he isn't keen on me sticking the syringe up under his lips.
if ya have any thoughts on the bupe, i'd listen . . . perhaps i'm not seeing what it's doing?
so i guess wh
