Cats! :cat: At least he wasn't charging down today.

If you gave R today, do you might updating the SS.;)
Now Wendy...that’s cheating....LOL! I think Lisa wants us to guess as well :p:bighug:!!!

Whoops again! I was really flaky this morning. Updated the SS. No midcycle R of course, since he was so low. Guessing he won't get any this evening, either, unless he surprises me again. Never a dull moment around here, apparently.

Heading back up again, but that brief time in the blues knocked the ketones back down again. He's below 300, my threshold for giving 1.25 U of R, but I'm wondering whether it might be time to expand my R scale lower. Maybe next time around if he's between 250 and 300 preshot and looks like he's heading up I could consider giving 0.75 or 1.0 U?

I agree, you could try R over 250 if he's definitely on his way up. Maybe start with the smaller R dose and see how it does, then adjust. Provided of course, that Oberon doesn't have another trick up his sleeve tonight.

This last dip came so close to the previous one that I kind of feel like I ought to wait and see what he's up to. Maybe I'll check at +1 and if he's a lot higher I could go for it then. Or skip, but if he skyrockets I could consider midcycle R overnight. I could stay up late to do it (ugh) and my husband will be getting up early and will be checking him starting at about +9. Then again, I could just let it go for tonight and get some sleep...

You don't have to shoot R tonight. The reason I mentioned tricks, is I'm trying to figure out if Oberon is changing his usual playbook. His PMPS wasn't exactly skyrocketing up, could have been normal insulin wearing off. R over 250 is good if you know for sure he's bouncing. Not sure I trust Oberon to do that.

His pattern is definitely changing. Very cool but a bit nervewracking. Maybe we've finally gotten closer to an effective L dose?
