Well, Mr. Cat has been at .25U for 7 days plus this morning. I know he is technically ready for a reduction to .1U but I am nervous about dropping his dose. I'd like to see more greens at his AMPS. Any thoughts?

For a kitty this close to a trial, you may want to try giving Mr. Cat a "snack" at around +9. The food may cause his pancreas to kick in and help to lower his AMPS.

Thanks, Sienne. I know you are right about that... and I tried it out over the past week or so. I posted on Mr.Cat's spreadsheet how many hours before AMPS he has a meal. Sometimes, eating 3-4 hours before will lower his AMBG and other times, it doesn't make a difference. I wish it were simple!

I decided to stick with .25U tonight and see where he is tomorrow morning. If it looks like his BG is holding steady, I'll take him down to .1U. Wish Mr.Cat luck!
