I got strips in yesterday and am now back to my Pet Meter. I know it's confusing, but I shouldn't have any more switches for awhile. LTs AMPS this morning is after 1 small drop last night, so we gave the same again this a.m.

For those interested, I'm doing a comparison study with a human meter called an Easy Touch and so far the results with my Pet meter are within 20% - it really reads more like a pet meter, but the strips are only $0.15 apiece. I'll put the results of the study here when I have 20 readings. I'm thinking the BGs from the Easy Touch would be best used on a pet meter spread sheet than the human meter spread sheet, but would consult the admin/mods here first.

If using a human meter please use the human spreadsheet. So many comparisons have been done here. Your tests might be within 20% but on that particular drop of blood one meter could be 20% high and the other 20% low or both could be higher or lower at the same time.

Ok. Will do.

Be interesting to compare the Easy Touch on a human vs another human meter, since it's marketed as a human one.

LT is looking good.:D

LT is already looking pretty good Suzanne! I hope he'll slide back over to the Falls before too long.

Is he still as much of a scamp as before?

Yes he is Sue. He still plays with his bigger brother Fred and still is always on the prowl for contraband. He gets his few remaining teeth pulled on November 9th, and we hope that will help get him back OTJ.

Angie, the mule is wonderful. She has turned into a great ride for my husband. I had to put down my horse back in February, so I'm riding our other horse. We rode twice last week, but the storm at the beginning of the week left things too muddy this week.

I'm sorry to hear that...always sad to let them go isn't it :(

I hope LT gets back to the Falls when those teeth get extracted! That kid...he's very sensitive to those teefie issues isn't he...

Have a good evening Suzanne!
