Would ya look at those greens?!?!?! I really thought by now we would have to go back up to 1.0 u.....but i'm not complaining.

We had a good test, shoot and feed this morning. Leo is still eating FF elegant medleys for the most part, tho i'm slowly trying to ween him off the MC/HC fuds.

Leo, you are rockin on with those pretty greens and even with FF Elegant Medleys! Maggie says there must be somethin good in them Medleys, and now she wants some, too! Have a wonderful day.
 
Leo hasn't put on a kitty-beater since Monday. The vet wanted me to use a warm compress every so often on his belly to encourage the scabs to fall off, i've noticed he's been licking again, it must be driving him nuts having those dried scabbies on his belly. When i left this afternoon for a few hours i put his cat-beater back on and i come back and the shirt is on the floor and Leo's belly is bleeding again (just like a dime size spot) so shirt back on and some polysporin with pain relief on his belly. I guess he's going to have to wear the shirt for the next few days. :roll: My rotten cat and his licking!!! :evil: :lol:
 
Leo's numbers are looking excellent, especially since he's still eating an MC food!!. I'm sorry he still wants to lick. His poor belly is probably itching like crazy!!! I wonder if the hair will grow back on his belly after all this...

sending you sympathy vibes for your wonky pen! they are aggravating! here's my response to your question.

tracy, as far as the wonky pen that was bent on making me insane i got a pen needle from the pharmacist and there are directions on lantus.com for getting rid of the air bubbles in the pen. however, after it sucked the lantus back into the pen a couple of times and there were so many bubbles in the pen, i stopped using it. i hung on to it and that's what i used for the video in the sticky "how to take care of your lantus" so it wasn't a total loss. if i'd only been drawing up a unit or two i might have been able to use it, but trying to hold onto the pen while pulling the syringe plunger out far enough to pull up 12 or whatever units against the pull of the negative pressure was too crazy and i simply couldn't do it. you have to readjust your hand to pull the plunger out far enough. anyway, i thought the lantus was contaminated and stopped using it anyway.

Sorry on the belly--Moonie once had a wound on her belly & the vet said to keep it From scabbing, as it would heal better--Different situation--Hope Loe's tummy will be better!
These cats are so OCD with the licking!! You dont see dogs getting a hairball
