Second time trying to post....sigh.

First of all, my small area was unaffected by the storm. We had lots of rain, but no flooding. However, I live on a hill. I don't know what it's like in town.
I dug a small trench, near my back door yesterday, to divert rainwater, and it kept it away from my doorstep.
I payed for that last night with severe muscle spasms, a recent problem.
I was prepared for wind and power outage, which never came. It's drizzling again today.

Checkers ate breffis well. He and I are having a screamfest at one another today.
He yelling "turn the faucet on"....Me yelling back at him.....so adult of me :roll:

I was furious with him last night, as I tried to get a +6, and he was playing the 'Catch me if you can' game!
I could make this very melodramatic, but will spare anyone who may be reading this.
I never did get a test during the night.

Already I'm losing connection with internet. I'll get this little modem thingy checked, when the weather is better, hopefully tomorrow.
I'm off to check condos. :-D

Glad that you are not affected too much by the storm Barb. Stay safe if you are living near the mountain side. Take care.

Hi guys .. woah checkers, try not to take such massive dives :lol: Glad to hear you guys were not hit too hard by the storm .. hopefully your town isn't flooded .. Checkers, when your beanz needs to test you, you can't go around playing catch me if you can! Be a good boy and do what your momma says ok? Have a great day guys!

Hi Barb, glad there is no damage there in your area except for the rain. Smart with digging that trench by yur door, but ouch, and healing vines for your back.
:lol: :lol: on the screamfest with Checkers and the faucet. Now tell me, who won that one - Checkers I bet!
And then the "catch me if you can." :lol: Checkers was having a lot of fun with his Bean.
Hope you don't keep losing internet connection. That's such a pain.

I am relieved that all is well at your place. nice job on the tench - I know that helped. so sorry though on the muscle spams. omg - hope you are better this morning. What a relief huh on the no power outage and minimal winds.

:lol: :lol: :lol: on the faucet drama. GO CHECKS. I love the yell back. Maybe deserved after that catch me if you can last night... Checks! be good to your bean.

Hope your day is good one, and that your connection issues are better, maybe storm related?

Barb I'm glad you are safe and didn't get hit too hard by the storm. I hope you feel better today after the muscle spasms. Checkers keep surfing that blue.

Glad to hear all is well there, and even pretty normal w/ the faucet "discussion!" I think it sounds like a good day to stay in and give your back a rest. Take care.

So glad that you and Checkers and your other kitties are safe and dry, with no major disruptions from the hurricane. Sorry that you did yourself in wielding that shovel!
Checkers, be a little more cooperative for your mamabean. She's trying to keep you safe.
