It is frustrating for sure

. Too much to really think about. I do hope she soon remembers that life was so much better in lower numbers.
In the meantime, wine was had. I drank. Butters watched.
And now a short story: Today, after reading their website, I tried connecting with the cat clinic that
@Tomlin came across and mentioned in my thread yesterday. I left a message and submitted an inquiry through their website first thing this morning. Tonight I get a random email from "reception" at the Cat Clinic. The subject of the email is a proper noun that I do not recognize. I open the email and find an empty message body with a PDF attached to it. So I open the PDF and it is one of their patient's health records for the past year,

complete with the human's name/address/phone #s. It was the cat's name that was the subject of the email.
I was very confused (and also nosy...and, well, confused) so I read through the PDF and it turns out the cat has DM, just like all of our cats! Go figure. There are a lot of staff updates in the record such as "this cat should be on DM wet and dry food". Then, "PLEASE GET THIS CAT ON TO DM CANNED AND DRY".

You get the idea. And there is a BG curve. Looks like this cat is bouncing too.

That's neither here nor there, I suppose.
So I'm wondering...do you think maybe they sent it to me "accidentally" (but like, on purpose), as proof that they have experience with cats who have DM? That wouldn't be very professional, I don't think. Or was this an honest mistake? I don't even know anymore. What if I bring butters in and they mix her up with another cat?

Why can't anything be straightforward.
