it's sunday...and brings an end to a night this household is glad to see gone.

Binks' stomach settled round 11 pm last night, and he ate...after which we all settled in for a comfy snooze-
only to be awakened at 4am by Annie dousing my face and shoulder with a singularly spectacular furball. :shock:
I squirmed away, and Smudge sank her teeth into my thigh for violating my 8 inches of allowed bed space and bumping her :o
Binks joined the fray in defense of his hapless bean...and a free-for-all fracas began on the bed.

I took a deep, calming breath and thought to myself "WWJD?- What Would Jill Do??" :lol:
and the answer was clear- get up and feed the B to make sure he's feeling better.
But i fell right back to sleep after wiping up Annie's giftie...and slept until the alarm went off :roll:

The boy is feeling quite recovered this am...
4 of 5 p's so far...
and we shot the s.25u

and we need to buy one of these...

I actually OWN that sign. A friend bought it for me several years ago. It's the FUNNIEST Thing, I still love it. It's a great conversation piece- trust me... And it's hilarious you posted the spanish side, that's the side I show, it somehow makes it even funnier! Though in all seriosuness, sorry to hear of your early morning giftie.

ROFLMAO! I'm laughing so hard I'm crying! Anne said, "What did Celi post this morning?" because whenever I start laughing, it's something that you posted. I'm really sorry about the furball-in-the-face and the bite on the thigh (not funny at all!) but the WWJD - that is beyond hysterical! Can you turn your posts into a book? I think every bean of a diabetic cat would want a copy.

Great number for Mr. Binks this morning. Glad his stomach settled down. Poor guy. No more cheese! And poor bean! What a night. Hope today goes smoothly. :smile:

I had to go back to last night's condo to see what kind of cheese did Binksy in. And the answer is not revealed! Blue cheese? Cheese curd? Jalapeño pepperjack? Brie? The possibilities are endless. It's nice that he enjoyed it, whatever it was. Not so nice that the rest of the household enjoyed the aftermath. And Annie felt she had to make a contribution, too. And a good time was had by all!

Take care of your Smudgie bite, Celi. And that is one terrific poster!!

What a night you had! I don't think a cat has ever puked on my face and I don't want it ever happening to me in the future. The visual is pretty hilarious and to think you were able to go back to sleep after all that drama happening on your bed.

And Binks, glad you are feeling better and your numbers show it!

I was unable to sleep last night and read your condo for some amusement. Always a good way to put a smile on my face. Thanks for being you!

And....Binks really does need to stay away from the cheese. Morgaine loves it but I seldom let her have any though she can eat cheese. She does prefer kitty crack aka Pure Bites chicken treats.

Whoa! made it back in the door with about 2 minutes to spare for shot time... :-D

you know, I gave the little devil karo mixed in with his mc before I left...

I gotta tell you...we REALLY enjoyed tonight.
We went to Tam's "boyfriend's" birthday party at a different facility
(a REALLY swank place...tam was like "why don't I live HERE??")

the boyfriend is a lot older than sis...and a bit lecherous...but, hey...finding someone you care for ain't so easy in her situation...
and they've really missed each other since he got moved.
( he flipped out one day because they couldn't misbehave at the nursing home, so he got kicked out & moved across town) :shock:
They had Popeye's Chicken, greasy french fries, homemade tater salad, ice cream...TOTAL trash foods...and fresh fruit & veggies.
and homemade pineapple pie, which i had never tasted...it was good!

SHE WAS IN HEAVEN!!!

sometimes I forget how terrible it must be not to be able to choose anything for yourself..
(Do not let the kitties read this post)...
so we stopped on the way back and got her a huge burrito with EVERYTHING from a roach coach.
SWEET. :-D

Your mornings are some of the most interesting I have ever heard!! No sleeping in and snuggling in the covers.....Mice, hairballs, bites, cat fights :lol: Wow! You must be a morning person because your condo's are always so funny and your days start so dramatically.

actually...I'm starting to sort of have issues with the constant bickering and complaining all night long...
but haven't figured out how to calm them down...
and they're so pitifully grateful to be a part of even a dysfunctional clan...i can't bear to be nasty to them... :?

gotta be careful what you get when you google "cats," though! :shock: some of those "cats" aren't felines!

i'm so glad you got your sister the treats she wanted! you made a memory with her and i suspect she'll always be glad for the yummy trailer food! it's gotta be hard to not be able to control what you get to eat.

here's the crazy deal with tam...the hemorrhage destroyed a large portion of the back of her brain...and she has almost NO short term memory.
It's not so bad as to cause her to repeat herself endlessly...but she has about a one hour retention window for current happenings.
Now, her memory prior to the "Event" is sharp as a tack...she's almost 10 years older than me, and remembers things that I surely don't from childhood...from
her RN schooling, etc...
but multiple times per day...it's a new day for her.
We treat the whole thing with brutal honesty, endless repetition, and a whole lot of humor...she's pretty amazing.
I tend to get 8 or 9 calls from her daily, though :lol: :lol:

sorry if that's too much bean info...

ah, but YOU got the memory and you know how much it meant to her. sometimes it takes someone who loves us to tell us who we are, to help us remember. she's so lucky to have you.

i don't hardly even know my sister - she's 15 years older than me, from my dad's first marriage, and i never lived with her.

i would just hazard to guess that you would mess with her no matter whether she'd had that stroke or not. so i imagine you're just treating her like normal - which is the best!

Celi, great numbers for Binks!! I just read yesterday morning's post and I'm trying so hard not to laugh out loud as DH is sleeping in the room next door!
You are really hysterical! What a way to start a day.
Of course Spanish is my first language and I just LOVED the cat puke sign in Spanish!
Glad little Binks is feeling better after the eating the cheese
