Tina really is flattening out, and those bookends are shorter. This has me wondering what's next.

Yesterday I saw her jump up on the toilet seat (surprise), and think hard about jumping to the shelf on the wall, and heading out the cat door window to the enclosure. Her favorite thing in the world was hanging outside, and she hasn't been able to go . . . now I'm worried she's getting brave enough to hurt herself.

I truly need to get started on the new "senior" cat house, making ramps instead of the leaping shelves. I had a blast when I first started building the enclosure for young cats. I put her in it from the outside door yesterday, and she loved her old hangout. Ate some grass. She acts scared of the big back yard, she just wants in her enclosure. This weekend work will be done.

Have a wonderful day beautiful beans and beautiful kitty cats:):cat:

Would also like to see pics of outdoor enclosure...glad Tina is feeling so much better.
You wrote that it gets cold by you, do you ever get snow?
We only got a 5 minute dusting last year, but most years we see a tiny bit of snow around late January or early February.
Usually we get ice instead of snow. Up to two inches of snow isn't unusual, but 4-5 is! The year I moved from Denver to Dallas, there was no snow in Denver, but 5 or more inches in Dallas upon arrival.

I have been going through pics, back to 2012 so far. Nothing shows all at once, and nothing is photo ready! But this should give an idea anyway.

I messed up I think . . . should have given the HC gravy first thing. With MC, she went up to 72, back down to 59 in a half hour. So she just got gravy and of course loved it.
But the MC might continue raising her (? - I'll see later) while the HC likely boosted her just now, possibly too much.

Love the outdoor enclosure....everyone looks so happy and content:)

Congratulations on the reduction!!:D:D:D...Tina is sure working it. Very happy for you and Tina:bighug::bighug:
Thank you! I'm truly tickled but still a little amazed. I've never seen her so low. She was very calm, and never asked for a snack. Uh oh! I think she's pretty tired, or just isn't hungry. She's usually asking for dinner and a shot by now, an hour early!

I'm glad Tina came up for you. Congrats on the reducie. Love the catio.
I was surprised it took a while to get her to stay up. But that was a strong reduction point, and I wish I'd checked her an hour earlier. I look forward to seeing if the reduction works well!
It feels good. Thanks Tina:cat: for helping me stay calm. And I thank this board too, obviously.

Awesome Catio and amazing surf for Tina today!!! congrats on the reducie.... lets see you work it Tina!!
Thanks Amanda! That little cat house will be under renovation by tomorrow!!! It is 11 years old and looks a little sad right now. It was for younger cats; its getting a senior update:)
