Yesterday I moved Spock out of the bathroom and into a spare bedroom. Took me 2 hours to clear the room out (an empty room begs for accumulation).
I tell you, that boy has a nose on him to rival any bloodhound's! He kept trying to get at something in the closet and I finally realized that it was a bag of years-old catnip! I have an old dining room table in the room loaded high with cat bedding (I'm a thrift store junky). When I went in for his Sun. PM test he was at 371! Turns out he found a bag of Kitten Chow that I forgot to remove from the room. That combined with his bounce from a 68 on the 29th - argh! I'm not starting out so good with this guy. And this morning I discovered he likes plastic! Argh - gotta take some more crap out of the room! And least I know his slight neuropathy is not hiddering him from climbing!!
And I think that he's going to be sequestered for awhile. The room that he's in now has a big gap at the bottom of the door and I thought that would help them check each other out. Well.....when Jesse put his paw under the door, Spock lunged at the door with his paw trying to kill whatever was on the other side. His hackles went up and he got all bushy. Oy!
It's back to work for me after 5 days off (oh how hard it is!) And yet again we went from Summer to Winter with no Fall and the rain has begun (along with the ceiling leaks in the catio) Grrrr. That's what empty litter tubs are for!
