When tested last night at +4.5 and this morning for AMPS he laid down and purred during testing! After testing he stayed there and keep purring while getting pet. This morning our two civies decided to chase each other around the house and for the first time in months PurrFace ran after them...as fast as he could with his neuropathy.

Peter, thank you for the encouragement. The vet started PurrFace on Humulin N. about two weeks into treatment I discovered FDMB. It was a life changing event for PurrFace. With info found there we were able to convince our vet to switch him to Lantus. We see a visible change in him. Since the switch he has gone from 12.6#s to 13.2#s and he has a "healthy" look. His dandruff is gone also. Thanks to all at FDMB the scared and confused feelings we had at the beginning of this ordeal are greatly diminished. bcatrun_gif
 
Well I can second what you said.
This place is a lifesaver.
I know it helped us tremendously and I think ( paws crossed /antijinx) we are so close to otj . I could not have done this on my own, no way, no how.
I almost read every condo in trforum every day and I think I"m almost on my 100th day. I learned it all here, asking questions, using other's experiences and trials to make the best choices.
This is a wonderful wonderful find.
I'm so glad you found it too.

Rhiannon&Shadow I fell like I neglected something if I'm home and don't check FDMB at least every 20 minutes or so. Had a busy day today and PurrFace was out on the porch in the sun most of the day and only came in occassionally to eat. I'll do some testing tonight. I need to do more night testing anyway. Have a great evening.
