Well hopefully foster mom's nightmare migraine is done and she can get back to just thinking about me ;-)
The last few days we've adjusted a few things with Chris and they seem to be settling very nicely with him. It looked like his numbers started the bouncing more when we cut his calories because he was gaining weight (shelter is worried about weight, the vet said just getting him to lose weight would be the key  I don't like to diet diabetics that much, I prefer to keep them fairly satisfied until we can get the BGs under control, then we can worry about his weight IMO. One of the hard things of working with a cat that is not yours). So, the extra calories we are giving him are towards the end of his cycles and it seems to have really stopped those end of cycle run up
I also put him back up to 1.25. We seem to have a nice start lower, stay higher, flatter curve right now. Almost under 100 for last night's preshot  ! He's doing awesome.
Now I'm just trying to figure out why his peek in only around 4hrs in. Very short peek for Lantus.
On a sucky note. Other diabetic foster Cecil started Tresaderm 3 days ago. This hasn't had a good track record in my diabetics so I've tested him more. 106 today. Not a bad number, but not one he's seen on over 5 months Not since back when he was still on insulin :YMSIGH:
