Well, this looks like the second cycle of a bounce following the low greens yesterday morning, and a yellow/blue bounce is not bad for the mighty Z. All quiet here this morning. Kitties have decent appy, poo patrol was successful and we have a sunny, warm day perfect for cat napping.

I leave Wednesday evening for my month in the Netherlands. I am pretending at the moment like I'm not going anywhere. :lol: :roll: :lol: Packing and getting all the stuff together I need to take for the work I'll be doing, plus getting things all sorted for Liz and the kitties before I leave is just so daunting! But at least we are not dealing with a hurricane too. Zener is quite excited to visit Rusty's barn in Sandy land for the party tonight. He must not realize rain is involved and is dreaming of a giant sand filled litter box. :cool:

Paws crossed for all in the path of the storm and we wait anxiously to see how everyone fares. nailbite_smile

Hi Anne, I think Maggie is following Zener today and bouncing, too, or something or other! :? Wow, that is getting close with you this Wednesday. I'm sure Zener and Tillie must sense it, huh! Thanks for the info on how you dose Zener and Tillie with the Miralax and for getting Maggie's poo report. Have you ever tried pumpkin with Tillie. I've heard pumpkin can help, the good one. Glad poo patrol successful. Good luck with getting all done by the day.

Anne, thanks for the info on the pumpkin and Tillie. I had to laugh that she thought it disgusting. So did my boy GA kitty. Maggie might like it, but I agree with the cans. It doesn't come in small cans, and so much gets wasted. Have a good night.

Yep, I know it's shocking, Zener's on the slide! All in all, a quiet day for the big guy, decent appy, lots of sunshine and a little Tillie chasing this evening!

@Ann & Maggie - must be the bounce, slide, bounce routine. :roll: We have tried pumpkin with the kitties pre-FD. Zener would eat it, but Tillie would not. And we could never find small cans so ended up throwing out lots of pumpkin. :oops:

We are waiting lots of hurricane coverage, pretty wild in NYC. Paws crossed front and back for all of our east coast LL family. :YMHUG:

Nice slow steady slide for Zener today. I hope he doesn't do anything too exciting tonight. The last thing you need is lack of sleep before jet lag! I can't imagine packing for a month away for both work and yourself. Do you have a nice place to stay while there?

I have a great recipe for pumpkin scones that only uses part of a can. That way the can doesn't go to waste! It also freezes well.

@Wendy & Neko - he followed your instructions for the slow steady slide until dark, and now it's drama-rama. Oh well, sleep deprivation, jet lag, whatever. I will be staying in a small one room apartment in a guest house for visiting faculty. It looks nice from the pictures. Thanks for the pumpkin scone recipe, very seasonal! :-D
