Good evening LL!

It's been a busy day here, but Tarragon is feeling good. It appears he is bouncing and must have gone low last night after I was asleep. I hope that is what it is with the AMPS he had today! Started a new pen tonight. I looked at the date of his vial before PMPS and it said 9/1. Whoops! I am a bad bean, but it just goes along with the way my days have been lately.

Charlie's vet appt went ok today. They took a sample of his lump but are pretty sure it is just a fatty tumor (limpoma), which labs tend to get when they are older. We will know for sure in a few days. Got all his shots up to date, nails clipped, glands expressed and took his weight. The big boy has to go on a diet since he weighed in at 102. Don't we all. No more cheetos or ice cream for my big baby.

Hope you all are having a great weekend!

Good evening!
:-D
Come on down, nice and easy Tarragon.

Hope the test comes back as just a fatty tumor. It probably is. :YMHUG:

Re: 10/29 Tarragon PMPS 225

Hi Melissa, Fingers crossed for Charlie's test! My almost 12 year old Border Collie-Lab mix has several limpomas. I hate them, but they're not harming her so I haven't had them removed.

Hopefully Tarragon gives you some lovely numbers tonight!

Re: 10/29 Tarragon PMPS 225

Hey Mr. Tarragon, come on down from your bounce. Too many bounces going on around here tonight! Good luck with the new pen.

Charlie is surely a big guy! We're thinking good thoughts about his lab tests and wishing him well on his diet. Do they have Weight Watchers for Labs?

Have a good evening,

Ella & Rusty

Charlie is a big boy! Is he food focused like most labs? C'mon down from that bounce, Mr. T.

T!! B waiting for you on lower floors!

and Charlie...omg...no more Cheetos or ice cream???
I gotta wonder about Quality of Life here, Melissa!!

Re: 10/29 Tarragon PMPS 225

Liz - Charlie is sooo food focused. Too bad Tarragon doesn't have a little of it.

Celia - I know right? He was pretty disgusted tonight when I handed him a carrot stick at snack time. Of course that meant carrots for me too  To be fair, he is an English lab which is a stockier breed. He is registered and his dad was 110 and mom was 90, so I am thinking 102 is not too bad. He was down to 89 before he had knee surgery and ran every day. Unfortunately that took it out of him. The chettos and ice cream are just supplements.

Re: 10/29 Tarragon PMPS 225

Hi Melissa, fingers and paws crossed for Charlie that it is just a lipoma/fatty tumor. My GA Siamese cat had one on his shoulder. Glad to hear Tarragon is feeling good. Hope your weekend is goung well. Take care.

Re: 10/29 Tarragon PMPS 225

OMG!! Charlie is a chubby boy! :o I can imagine he was not impressed with the carrots, especially after the cheetos and ice cream diet he's been on.

Its so nice to hear that Tarragon is feeling good, what i wouldn't give for some "normal".

Tarragon, I was thinking maybe i'd go as a lion? But a mouse is a pretty darned good idea too!!!  Leo

Re: 10/29 Tarragon PMPS 225

Sending lots of hugs to your sweet Charlie tonight and wishing and praying for good test results. He sure is a big boy although I would certainly like to weigh 102!

Hope Tarragon clears that bounce quickly.

Re: 10/29 Tarragon PMPS 225

Ella - Weight Watchers for labs is a great idea! It is our fault but labs are really good at guilt trips. He isn't fat, just big boned.
