yesterday
Morning.
Took a +1 today just to see where Shadow was ... up or down .... she took maybe 2 bites from her breakfast and ignored her food.
It took getting a test and giving her freeze dried turkey, crumbled some on her food to get her inspired to eat that breakfast.
At least she went down.
Last night's party was a success. DH was clueless and surprised. And only half his tiramisu cake was eaten so he has lots of cake left.
I am trying to figure out how to move back to the real bed.
Shadow does not self serve with eating in the night. I am currently setting the alarm every 4 hours to feed her. Miss Uncooperative.
I can't set an alarm in the bedroom because it will wake my DH and he can't go back to sleep if he's woken in the night. It totally messes
him up. ( Don't wake the bear!)
We normally went to bed at 9:30/9:45 pm and he gets up at 5:30/5:45 am so that would mean Shadow would go 8 hours or more without
eating if I went back to the bedroom. I might wake up on my own but I might not.
So I'm experimenting with how to get her to eat. I'm also afraid she won't come join us in the bed as she was doing before I moved to
the couch with her. I think I'll try moving to bed in the middle of the night/morning after her 2am feeding and see if she'll come.
That may be a way to start the transition. ( stumble, stumble) This sounds a lot like when my DD was 4, 5, 6 and trying to get her
to sleep in her own bed.
Prayers for everyone on the east coast, Roni/Moonie , Claudia/Comet and Karisa/Tasha and Dale and Max today.
Also for anyone else needing them today.
