Sorry to not have a condo yesterday... has been the week from heck (heck! I tell, ya!). No sleep Wednesday night as I spent most of the night terrified by scary noises in the house... as Willie peacefully snoozed away. Literally, at one point, I'm shaking the covers and he's bouncing in the air, still out cold. Turns out, my scary axe murderer was really a mouse having a gorge fest in a box of Cinnamon Toast Crunch I had left on the floor in the office from when I was snacking during a teleconference on Wednesday afternoon. Willie caught said mouse last night around midnight... brought it to bed with a look of "look what I did!!! now what do I do?!?" on his face. Got him to the dining room, was ready to trap the mouse, when he drops it and it takes off like it is jet propelled... a flying grey blur. After giving me a disgusted "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!?!" look, Willie spent 2 hours searching before giving up and coming back to bed. My flight is tomorrow, so I probably won't be checking in much over the weekend. Setting up an account for DPS, so she may be by if she has questions in the unlikely event that she can't get ahold of me. I'll be back Monday afternoon.

Yikes!!! Wednesday night sounds miserable. Willie, why weren't you protecting your bean? I guess he did catch the mouse - good for you, Willie! Now catch it again. Have a great trip, Christie. Hope you get some great food while in DC.

Well .. I think what we can all take away from this condo is ... NO CINNAMON TOAST CRUNCH :lol: I am sure the DPS will do just fine while you are away and you know we are always here if questions arise ... have a great weekend!

OMG, Devon... I don't even eat the stuff! I have a bunch of cereal on the dining room table to go to the food bank, and i didn't have time to prepare lunch, and just happened to look at it and think "hmm.... that sounds kinda good!!" :lol: :lol: :lol:

Too bad Willie couldn't keep hold of the axe murderer mouse. It will come back when you least expect it! And next time it won't be cereal it's after !! Happy Halloween!!

LMAO!!!! OMG sounds like one heck of a night. I'm glad it was only a cinnamon toast crunch murdering mouse. :lol: poor Willie, do you think he would have eaten that mouse?

I hope your petsitter does alright and we'll keep an eye out for her while your gone. Have fun on your trip!

you already had your scary halloween night! a little too much excitement! how in the world do you get all these mice in your place? you must have a sign out front saying "free mouse food here/toothless guard cat." :-D

willie, this is what a guard cat is SUPPOSED to look like! ;-)
