Good Morning, Everyone,
We hope that everyone is safe from the various storms and earthquakes. Thinking good thoughts for Dale and Max this morning as they wait to get the report tomorrow. Continuing to hold Claudia in our hearts. Continuing to send healing vines to all kitties and beans in need.
Rusty had a good night sleeping between his beans. He ate all of his nighttime food (which included FF T&G), finishing it shortly before AMPS, as is his custom (thus creating a probable food spike). This morning we had a good test, good shot, breakfast of Wellness Turkey (first sitting eaten), and a nap in the little bed by the radiator. What a dreary day outside. You can just "feel" the influence of the hurricane: it is warm (48 degrees), damp, fog and mist. Ha ha, the oil paint on that garage door is never going to dry. What an idiot I was to mistake oil paint for water-based! (and even Edward, whose father was a painter, didn't spot the oil-paint smell until it was too late!).
Tonight is our little group's annual progressive Halloween party (held a little early this year). We go to 3 houses: the first for soup and appetizers, the second for main dishes, and the third for dessert. Everyone brings a dish. I'm making a bison chili for a main dish and have to get started on it soon so that it has a chance to "meld". I'll have to run home between soup and main dish to do Rusty's PMPS. But all the houses are in the village, so that shouldn't be a problem. I also have to work on my costume. I'm going to be a crazy candy maker, wear an apron and some kind of headgear, and hand out Dad's Root Beer Barrels. Edward is going to wear his tuxedo and a horrible mask! I wouldn't want to meet him on a dark street!
Wishing you all a good day.
