Rosie remains in the fast lane for rapid reductions. I am more comfortable now being on alert and operating with 1/2 the dose she was getting when this pattern started about 3 weeks ago. It is still a bit tense seeing 40's ever other day. She seems to be feeling OK with good appetite and socializing.

I'm more confused than ever because everything I have read says BG should go up with infection and/or inflammation. She started AB and subq fluids yesterday to treat what is thought to be a UTI / kidney infection. C&S is due Monday so we should have more info soon. Meanwhile, I will worry about WBC and kidney numbers while I enjoy a normal IDEXX glucose and negative glucose in urine. :cat:

Yesterday.

Some cats go lower with Subq fluids. Not all cats go up with infection and/or inflammation. ECID. That's what makes this whole dance so frustrating.

We don't like to see reductions too close together, so I don't think I would take a reduction tonight, even though Rosie went below 50 today. I think the depot is still in play from the 3.5 dose. As long as you can monitor, if she were my cat, I'd shoot the 3.25 until/unless she gives you another drop below 50. Others may feel differently.
