10/28, Pippin, AMPS 171, +6.75 281, PMPS 257

Looks like bounced today after that 171. I expect he went lower than 171 overnight, but it's hard to say with no tests after PMPS. Any chance of getting a before bed test at nights? It is quite normal for cats to go lower at night. That going lower (to blues) then bouncing for a few cycles, is quite normal.

I also see that tomorrow is day 7 of this dose. Do you think you'll be able to do a curve soon? It would be good to see how low this dose is taking him so we can decide if this dose is just right, too much, or too little.

Yes, I’ve been trying to get in more overnight tests. We’ve been giving him a bit more of a break with testing in general for the past couple days. He was doing super well with it for a bit, but the past few days we’ve had a bit of a rebellion, resulting in needing more pokes than normal to get the amount of blood needed.

That being said, I do want to run a curve soon, anyway. I think I’ll try to do one early this coming week. Pippin’s poor ears are a bit battered, but I’ll try to at least get in a few +1 or +2 tests after PMPS over the weekend. He even let me sneak in a +3 now, what a good boy! :)
