Nice start Oberon. Ketones look so good since the last round of low BG numbers...that's pretty neat to see they didn't go up as high as usual. Your hard work is clearly paying off, Lisa :bighug:

What I'm finding is that any time at all spent below about 300 clears them out quickly. Between the last dip and the one before that, he bounced so high (557!) that as he worked his way down again he never came below 300 until the next big dip hit, so ketones climbed. Between the last big dip and today, he had a couple of days where he came down into the upper 200s (thanks, R!), and that appears to have done the job. The really good news is that so far, even when ketones do climb they don't seem to be affecting him (knock wood, anti-jinx, and all that). But for all I know that could change at any time.

About 5 nice hours of blue, and it looks like the bounce has started. Assuming the trend holds I'll probably be able to give him some R tonight.

Total bounce. So he just got 1.25 U of R along with his L, and hopefully that'll at least slow it down.

He snuck out of the house for the first time in a long time this afternoon. I chased him around the front yard a little bit (and slipped on some wet grass; I think I'm going to be sore tomorrow). Then he rounded the corner and came face to face with the three big monsters that have been our frequent backyard guests lately. They spooked and ran, and he spooked and ran right back to the front door and asked to be let back in. Guess there's a reason to appreciate having deer in the yard.

Oberon——isn’t he keeping you busy enough already without an escape:woot:!!! I hope you will be ok after the slip and thank God for wildlife!!!! Our Noodly George got out many years ago and a Mama raccoon and her kits literally kept him in our backyard!! Like you....wet grass and mud. I didn’t slip but dove to grab the slippery Noodle. Felt that the next day!!!

I love to start my morning hearing Oberon did well :bighug:.

My Noodle literally came from my backyard. His mom carried he and his 3 siblings in from the woods, so he is on the same page as Oberon :D!!
Fortunately we now have a pool cage and we harness trained George to go outside (and not freak out). He no longer uses the harness and goes running full speed every morning.
