Battening down the hatches. We are in NJ in the path of the eye, and I'm in my apartment in MD/DC. Getting the generator hooked up to the house to run the sump pump in case the electricity goes out otherwise we will flood. Roads flood out around us. Nerve-wracking, these storms are. nailbite_smile nailbite_smile nailbite_smile My work already closed down for tomorrow and we can work from home if possible.

Be safe to everyone out there - this one is going to be bad. Worse than Irene. Keep in touch.

I'm STILL hoping this thing will veer off course!!! But, we are feeling the LL love, and I'm sure that will keep us safe out here!

Amy and Lisa, good to hear from both of you and praying for your safety. Also good thoughts and prayers for all others in the path of the storm.

We're in a holding pattern right now, waiting to see if and when this'll hit us. Barely any drizzle so far, but according to TWC, tomorrow afternoon and beyond are when things are supposed to really turn ugly...hopefully not, but that's what they're saying so far....

BE safe, be dry, be electric.
come on high pressure sytem, move east fast and push that darn thing out to sea.
we're sending love and safety prayers and vines to you all.

Sending you all prayers....Roni, Barb, Lisa, Ella, Dyana, Libby in SC, Amy, and please forgive me for those of you on the East Coast and in the NE who are in the path of the storm. We're all worried about you. Please check in when you can and let us know you are all ok.

Love and prayers...be safe.

Have been thinking about all of you in the path of this monster storm, praying each of you & your loved ones, furry critters included, stay safe, warm and dry. PLEASE heed the warnings, this is truly a monster of a storm. I. know. First hand experience. Katrina. Isaac. 4 inches of water in my house (Isaac). Caused over $100,000.00 worth of damage to just the house. More than half its value. That doesn't count the contents, the damage to the machine shed/garage or the fences, the road (driveway), vehicles, property. Only 4 inches. I just got my refrigerator working yesterday, 2 months after the storm. It is not fun.

Please please please everyone heed your local warnings and be safe. Isaac was a slow mover, I would have been OK had it passed over in a few hours like Katrina. But no, it stayed for 2 days and rained and rained and rained and caused flooding and flooding and more flooding. Just like Sandy is supposed to do.

I will be thinking of you all, praying for you all, and waiting to hear that each and every one of you & your critters are safe.

Our thoughts & prayers are with you! Pls stay calm & have faith!
From the other side of the world, we care.

Thoughts, prayers and safe vines to all in the path of this destructive storm. All barrier islands in NJ have been evacuated. Also prayers to the rescue groups there and my family and friends. Hope any power outages are short lived - so water for livestock is available. Bless all of you. Stay safe
