10/28 - GIDEON BLUE - AMPS=377, +4=118, +5=129, +7=84, +10=212, PMPS=155, +1=135, +2=103

So at +3 Gideon Blue's BG = 158. He is resting, so I am not going to encourage him to eat, but will retest at +4.
How low should I let him go before I encourage him to eat something? I know it is a dance, and it depends when his nadir is, which seems to change.

That's a pretty big drop. You should probably wake him up and see if he will eat a little bit of LC to slow things down.

OK. Just gave him saw Weruva PLAY food which is 7.7% carbs. Thank you. I guess I need an actual map on what %age food to give at what time for what BG.
I am trying my best for my sweet Gideon Blue.

+4=118. I just fed a TBSP of 12% carb food to slow him down just a bit.

+5=129, so the 12% carb food help prevent a quick decrease.

If you see a big drop (100 points or more), you want to feed to slow the drop. If it's a nice slow slide, you don't have to feed as often, unless he goes low.

Working tonight. Will test at +1. +2 and +3. Then husband will get up at +5 or +6. Will leave out 9% Nulo.

I am very concerned. Gideon is down to 103 and he is only at +2. Insulin hasn't even kicked in yet. Just fed him TBSP of 15% carb. Husband will retest at +3 and get up one time. I am off to work, and wish I was home..
