Something went wrong with last nite's shot. The syringe was dripping, so I was rushing to get the shot in. I'm may have missed in my rush- at the very least it wasn't a full 3.8u because of the dripping. His fur was definitely wet from that, but I'm not sure if it was as wet as it would be if I missed the whole shot..maybe.

claudia i'm not sure from where the syringe was dripping, but if you ever see that again grab a new syringe and refill. test the dripping syringe with water and see how it squirted out when shot? may not have all come out of the actual needle...it actually would be kind of good news if all of this was becuase of a bad batch of syringes where insulin was leaking out of the syringe onto fur???? long shot but to look at.

That's a much better number than his amps. Weird that it's lower than his +5 which is usually his nadir. I wish I'd have tested more today.
That was the only syringe I've had that did that, do unfortunately I can't blame all of his yucky numbers on defective syringes. Mustve just been a bad one.
