10/28/2011 Spitzer AMPS~516, PMPS~401

Previously

AMPS of 516; maybe 1.6 was too much too. Also tested over an hour after eating (one of those mornings). Backing off to 1.0 and praying he doesn't go into ketoacidosis while we wait it out a few doses.

Just one more dose of the antibiotic to go. Fewer poo puddles in the box, so not doing FortiFlora reduced the binge eating from some of the other cats (his mama, for one!) ... and may have reduced what Spitzer ate, too, resulting in too much insulin again.

I have fingeres toes and paws crossed that his numbers come down soon!
hopefully once the anti biotics are down things will settle down some

Couldn't get home mid-day to do any tests.

Not a stellar PMPS; not the worst he's ever been either. He Had 1 unit both times.

Antibiotic is finished. Did see some vomiting - which could be glucose too high oR too low at some point in the day.

Hold it another day, or drop it some more?
