Good Morning LL! Oh what a relief to see blue in the morning! :-D :-D We tried Felidae Salmon last night and it went over well. I think we just need to keep keep things switched up for the girl. So Far we've found 4 flavors that are 4%carbs or less and 200mg Phos/100kcal or less. I really wish I could find the Wysong Gourmet Chicken, at lot of places say they can get it, but I would have to order a case f food I don't know if she would eat. :YMSIGH:

Marge, the Before Grains cans are 5.5oz , 172 for the Beef and 202 for the Turkey. that's what started the whole thing off. The New List had 135kcal for a 5.5oz can of the Beef and that just seemed so low.

WCR Just 4 Ps, Clean Plate Club, but she just headed pack to the litter box. :roll:

What a pretty blue for Tess, and it's only going to get better. Thanks for stopping by Mags' condo and for the great info on Mr. Chewey's with 15% off and shipping if enough ordered. That much better than Food Direct and a big savings on BW. I've never heard of Felidae, but I have heard of the other one. Hope Tess likes the new fuds. Have a nice day.

Ann, I've been thinking about ordering from them as soon as I KNOW that Tess will keep eating Before Grains.That banner for 15% off today" has been up for a week , so who knows how long it will be available. Even without the extra discount it's better than Petfood Direct.

Tracy, Tess's renal numbers are still in the normal range , but are creeping up. We are just trying to head the problem off for as long as possible.

Hi guys .. yay on the blue start to the day! We'll call the +3 a food spike and hope she heads back down .. and yay on finding new fuds she likes .. to bad you would have to order a case of the other ones you want to try .. have a great day guys!

go tess go! i'd be hesitant to order a whole case of food before you knew that she loved it . . . unless you're willing to donate it to the shelter or something if she won't eat it! glad you found several that might work. have a great day, ann!

Thanks for letting me know on the cans....I figured it must be the large ones. The beef states it has 76 kcal in a 3.2 oz can...and as you say, it says "calculated". I'm assuming the beef in the small cans has the same kcal/oz as the beef in the large cans so that would make it roughly 100 kcal/3.2 oz can.

Good catch on that info.

Our feed store used to carry Wysong but not any longer....they said most cats don't care for the taste but that probably means that ours would have.

GREEN PMPS!!! And this is in spite of a vacuum monster scare just before the test. I swear , she levitated off the couch and reappeared in the kitchen! :lol: But DH got the pilot lit in the furnace. The heat is on kitty!

When will I learn not to take a +3 , I know her onset isn't until +4! ohmygod_smile
