the request for a green number has been answered. :cool: albeit briefly....but it's made me feel better. We saw 90 last night.

I have to be "sneaksky" today and tomorrow. My DH's birthday is halloween . He'll be 50.
And we have been trying to figure out how/when/where to have a little surprise party. My preacher and I figured it out. He will invite my DH over to watch the game (football ) on sunday evening ... so we have the perfect cover.... and I don't have to clean my own house. :thumbup
My DH roots for the Saints and preacher roots for Broncos.
So while I do have to work today, tomorrow and monday, I'll also use the excuse to run off and cook. Work on desserts today, Crawfish/Crab enchiladas tomorrow. I have the church kitchen where DH won't know what I'm doing.
Would have liked to make it really big ( more than 20) but that's too much food with me having to make cakes.

We have a pumkin glow tonight. It's very much like walking thru the luminaria's at Christmas (paper bags lining the streets and sidewalks
with a candle in them at night) .
There will be 100's of pumkins carved and lit up all over the town park that you can walk thru and see lots of talented carvings.

Prayers and hugs for Dale and Max. I didn't sleep well last night, saw her condo in my head over and over.
I want so much for this to be treatable and Max to have many more years.

Congratulations on day 10.

Sounds like a great party for the DH and love the idea of the pumpkin glow, sounds beautiful!

I'm with you on Dale and Max, so worried for them - my heart is so sad. I hope it is treatable as well.

Yay for green numbers (even if they are short lived). I love the plans for the birthday! Best wishes on pulling it all off and not going crazy!!!! :lol:

I've decided to run off to santa fe quickly and grab a couple of baskin robbins cakes.....
making pretty cakes can be stressful to me.......
and I wanted to hit two other pet food stores to find the 3 foods I haven't been ableto find....

Hi Rhiannon - oh what fun! A surprise birthday for DH, and on Halloween. too! I think you have the perfect cover.

The pumpkin glow sounds so very cool. How wonderful to do something like that, and even better that so many participate!

So on the same page in regards to dale and Max. paws crossed for them.

Surprise party for your DH sounds fun! Looks like Shadow's OTJ party will also be on Halloween, more reason to celebrate :-D
