Yesterday's CONDO


AMPS 215, +3=197, +6=163(post vet)
PMPS 141, +3=160, +6=77, +7.25=55, +7.5= 69, +7.75=66, +9=74


Fed 20cc Wellness Core just after AMPS, +1, +3, +4.25, 5cc snack @+9
Fed 20cc Wellness Core just after PMPS, +1, +3, +4, 5cc snack @ +9

Yesterday's values:
AMPS184, +3.25=192, +6=99, +9=101
PMPS 147, +6=129

We've hit yellow! He's outrunning his insulin. Should we bump it up to 0.25u this evening? I'll be sure to get tests in every 2-3 hours. (He's also a little more hungry, but not drinking more than usual.)

Shadow has a vet appt for some lab work including a Spec fPL. I expect that his nadir will be unusually high as a result.

I hope the vetty appointment went well. Since you test so much, I think it is okay to increase. You don't want his numbers to get too far out of control. Just be alert. He may not need the higher dose very long.

i agree with Carla. You could increase by 0.25u with blue nadirs, but from 0.1u i'd probably just try to hit 0.25u to get you on an even number.

The vet appt was just to get some blood drawn for labs. We are rechecking his pancreatic values too just to make sure his pancreatitis isn't acting up again. He did very well, according to the techs. :smile: We will see what the labs have to say in a few days.

So we up it to 0.25u tonight. No problem there. I watch him like a hawk, so I think he will do just fine. Here's hoping this does the trick.

Keeping fingers and paws crossed that Shadow will be fine and whatever is causing his bgs to rise can be easily dealt with.

Just got a +7.25 of 55. Will be retesting shortly to see if he's continuing to drop.

So we got a +7.5=69 on his own without additional food. I think it's very possible that he may have dipped under 50 before that +7.25. I think we will try 0.20u on his next shot to dial in this new dose. I will be retesting again soon just to make sure he's on his way back up.

His +7.75=66, so I think he's in the clear. I'll be back in about an hour for his +9 snack and retest.

The +9=74 and I gave him a 5cc snack. Heading back to bed now! :smile:
