Looks like Rosie wants another reduction!

She was great at the vet yesterday. We are going back again today. General blood work came back and is pointing toward a kidney infection with high WBC, and compromised kidney values that have come out of the blue (SDMA, BUN, Creatine fine 6 months ago). I'll head back to the vet this afternoon with the current course of action being UA, C&S, AB, Subq fluids. While I must admit I had a flash of panic, the vet says we need to treat what is in front of us. Rosie is happy, very interested in food and has never had better BG numbers. With no history of kidney disease, this is acute vs chronic.

We have no answer for why her insulin needs have suddenly decreased. She is eating less and has lost weight which may be attributed to her not feeling well. @Gill & George asked about her weight loss. I noticed she was thinner, but the key data for me came from photos I took earlier this month. The soft round face you see in her avatar now has some sharp angles. :( I tried to include a photo but it was too large.

I'll get the labs tab updated on her spreadsheet once I have the reports.

Yesterday.

Congrats on the reducie! Sounds like a round of AB will do the trick. Hopefully she'll feel a little better and eat a little more for you if she needs to put a little weight on.
Otherwise if Rosie's happy...:bighug::bighug:
