Hey LL!! We are home from show & OK-Did very well & everyone was so nice...
Now we have to face the Horricane Sandy. They will probably tell us to evacuate, but this time we really have no where to go..We have a stucco house with spanish tile roof & it's pretty strong..I AM NOT LEAVING MOONIE!!!!!!!!!!!ANYWHERE BUT WITH ME!!!!
We have a radio, halogen lantern, batteries, lots of food & water, and cat food :lol:
If it floods badly we can go across the street to my neighbor who looks in on Moonie and stay there..
She had a raised house with 5 steps to get in, Elevated, where our house is a ranch...
We are hoping & praying the thing takes a turn & goes out to sea, or veers off so no one will get hurt...
Moonie was a good girl today giving me a 125 AMPS before I left..So I left her high carb food in the auto feeder, few temptations, and her reg. fuds & she was fine :mrgreen:
Hope all kitties are well & doing great today as well as their beans--Hugs & Love from us.
The storm isnt coming till Monday, sooooo........Pray for the hortheast..

Prayers for your safety.
I was so outraged when the "rescuers" for hurricane katrina wouldn't take pets. I wouldn't go with them either.
Hope the media is wrong about this storm as they pretty much are about everything else....

Keep those blues Moonie.... a little green is good too. :mrgreen:

I'm glad you had a good show and Moonie did good while you were gone. I hope the storm isn't as bad as they say. I will be praying for you and everyone who is in the storm's path. It's good you can go to your neighbor's house if it floods.

Glad to see Moonie having the blues while you were away today. We have paws crossed the storm predictions are not accurate and things change. All of your west coast LL friends can go outside at the right moment and start blowing to the east toward you and see if we can send Sandy out into the Atlantic! ohmygod_smile

I hope that Sandy decides to go out to sea. That would be the best!! It sounds like you're prepared to wait it out. Moonie is a good, brave girl, and as long as she's with you, she'll be fine.

Hi Roni and Moonie, been thinking of you today and glad you are okay and the show was a success. I hope, too, the storm takes another direction. Sending stay safe vines, and it's a good plan with your neighbor.

We'll be thinking of you and all the east coast LLers. I hope Sandy heads out to sea. Moonie, you surf safe in the storm, none of that hotdogging on the big waves.

Moonie's numbers are doing fine...I am so stressed -our hospital was already evacuated(undergoing construction)so we
figure it's not going to be long till we are too--BUT we have nowhere to go this time..We are really terrified, but would stay if they let us-
Grows more scary by the hour.
Moonie is unaware of what is happening..hope I go to sleep & this is a bad dream..

They tend to evacuate hospitals because of the lifesupport necessities/ICU and it's timely and slow .... can't be rushed in a dire emergency.

I take it you guys can't go to a hotel further inland if they knock on your door.
 
I'm glad the show went well today. Praying for Sandy to just GO AWAY! Have you ever had the starm surge reach your houseo
