well... today is day 360 otj.

I'm feeling good about getting to the one year mark. Of course we will post a condo that day. :mrgreen:


Someone gave Shadow one of those's "cats meow" toys since her cat wasn't impressed at all. http://www.ordercatsmeow.com/?tag=im|sm|go|gn&a_aid=011
I was sure that Shadow wouldn't care either.
But.... to my great delight, she did like it.
I have to fold the yellow cover up on one side so she can see it moving better, but she bats at it and after a while, she just goes and sits on the yellow cover
side so it can't move in a full circle, it goes back and forth in whatever is left of the arc she isn't sitting on.

She has dominated it. :lol:


I should probably reschedule her ultrasound so we have it as a baseline but she's been doing pretty well this past week.
She's eating better.
Everything seems normal.
We had postponed it during the shutdown since my DH was about to be furloughed. I didn't want to spend money just in case it was a long one.

Healing vines and prayers for all who need them.
I am very sad with Lauri over Pixie.

I am so happy that Shadow is eating better and doing well!!!
I don't blame you for delaying the ultrasound.
It's pretty expensive and pretty stressful for the cats too!

Very funny about the Shadow and her new toy. :lol:
 
Hi Rhiannon & Shadow! Congratulations on your upcoming anniversary! Glad Shadow is doing so well. I agree re. the US - & can understand the original delay, too. Will they need to sedate him to do it?

Re the cat's meow toy - I got one for a spunky rescue we found & she so loved it, it had to go with her to the foster agency - & then her new home. It was the only time she'd come out from hiding, & like Shadow, she'd totally dominate it - what fun to watch!

They aren't planning on it.... maybe a tranquilizer if she needs it but she usually gets really submissive at the vet unless I am not there.
She'll actually attack them. :o

Fortunately the guy who comes to do u/s wants the person in there. So I'll get to be there the whole time. :cool:

The Cat's Meow is funny ~ kitties either love it or not (mine fall into the latter category :roll: Still trying, though... :lol: )
