Sending vines to all in need today, and a special hug for ((Lauri)), who did so much for her sweet Pixie♥♥♥.
Thank you for the visit last night, Liz, and for the vines.

Ripley seems to be feeling normal today. Much better than yesterday afternoon/last night.
Today she's perky, squawky, eating... she even followed me around the house before t/f/s time :-D .
Yesterday, I knew something was wrong when I got home from work and DH said that Ripley didn't want to go out in the backyard. :o She didn't leave her rocking chair the entire day. She wasn't excited about dinner, and during her fluids treatment, she tried to bite and scratch DH as he was feeding Ripley her favorite treats :o :shock: . Very add behavior. Something was definitely off.

I mentioned yesterday that I'm concerned about her higher-than-normal-numbers-despite-recent-increases; I am going to take her in on Monday for a urinalysis ~ to see if there's a UTI brewing. She's gotten one (a UTI) every 3 months or so since diagnosis, so she's "due." Hoping for a negative, of course. So hard to tell with her, as she's asymptomatic with her UTIs.

Back to NOW: She's eating and expecting more treat decorations on her breakfast. :-D :-D :-D So off I go... I'll be back later for some visits!

YAY - I am SOOOOO glad Ripples is feeling better this morning! Sending tons of vines that it was just "one of those days" and a UTI isn't brewing.

Sorry I missed yesterday. I am glad that she is feeling better though. YAY! Numbers seem good too. Mannie was like that, in his last few years - dealing with the UTI's. He too was a-symptomatic. I never had a clue, sometimes the higher BG's were the only thing I got.... Well I will hope Ripley isn't working on another one. Paw crossed!

Hi Josie,
I am glad she is feeling good and back to her normal self today.
Poor Ripley for not feeling good yesterday :sad: , and I'm sorry you have to spend the weekend worrying.
You are such a good bean to be so observant and also to be so quick to take an action.

Glad to hear Ripley is feeling better today. Sorry about the repeat UTI's, hope if something is going on that you/the vet can figure it out and get her back on track.

Ripley had a WONDERFUL day today :-D :-D :-D
She acted completely normal ~ MUCH more active today than yesterday :-D .
DH and I spent the day working on the house and backyard; Ripples joined us for much of the day :-D .
She was very hungry for her dinner, and ate most of it before snoozing on her rocker, where she is now.

Cute little story: After our house project today, we came inside to rest. I put on The Beatles' White Album; when "Dear Prudence" came on, Ripley came over to my lap and gazed at me while I sang to her and changed the words to "Dear Ripley." After the song, she went over to her rocker. So sweet. Even DH thought it was heartwarming.

Awwwwwww...love the "Dear Ripley" story! They just know how much they are loved...so sweet.

Very nice Ripley report - if she is squawking she must be feeling back to her chipper self! I hope yesterday was just an off day that will not repeat. Enjoy your weekend!
