Guess i can stop wasting strips for a while now. I'm sure Checks isn't going to surprise me with a green, any time soon. :
But I'm happy, if he surfs blue for the day. :-D

Today's the last nice day until next uhhhh, May, so getting outside things done again today. Every year I wait until a few days before Christmas, and trudge thru snow, to bring extra chairs in from shed. This year I brought them into the screen porch already. Yay! Was hoping to get grass cut again, but it wouldn't dry out enough. :YMSIGH:


Am I the only one who keeps getting kicked off the board? This has been going on for a few days.
It happens when I try to submit.

Nice low yellow and then some nice blues for checkers today...good job boy!!
You are very busy Barb....getting ready for christmas already?? Oh my....you put us all to shame!
I haven't had trouble on the board....maybe it's just people who are rushing the holidays that are
getting kicked off!!! (only kidding of course! :lol: )

Hi Barb, nice slide to blue. :-D Quite a few kitties started out on the yellow floor. Oh gosh, Christmas huh! I was having trouble with the Board earlier, too. It wouldn't post, so I copied and saved it for later. Have a nice day.

Nice blue surf there for Checkers! Perfect for getting chores done.

When you log on to you click the box for "keep me logged in" ? If your internet provider is having connection issues , that may be kicking you off too.

Ah well, blue was nice while it lasted. Better than yellow all day, for a change.

Hahaha, I'm not rushing Christmas. Just trying to avoid carrying extra chairs through snow, when it's time.
I'm not envying the parents who have to walk the little ones on a nasty Halloween night. Gonna be cold and rainy.....again!
I'm already dreaming of all the chocolate candy, that's gonna be on sale next week :lol:
 
I think the board has been acting funny for the last couple of days. I hope Checkers comes back down for you tomorrow.

I was having problems with the board last week (I would write a post and then find that it disappeared because "you must be logged in to post in this forum"). This happened for about 3 days and then it stopped. Mysterious indeed, and most annoying.

We're looking forward to Halloween, too. I always buy the kinds of candy that I like and that are good to take on hikes and paddles. Then I hope that we don't get too many trick or treaters!! :lol: I like Reeses Peanut Butter cups, Snickers, Twix, and Dad's rootbeer barrels.

It seems that we were both doing last-minute chores in this good weather. I sure hope the storm of the century peters out before it arrives!

Hope Checkers slides back down tonight.
Think Blue, Checkers.... Green is okay too. :-D

We have halloween events today in town. All the shops give out candy to any one in costumes. And then tomorrow is a pumpkin
glow. Some folks do some really elaborate carvings. There are usually over 1000 jackolanterns all lit up and you walk thru them all.
 
Checkers is having a very colorful day. :shock: We've had a little trouble with the board being slow at times the last couple of days. I thought it was just me, getting my new laptop set up and having some wireless connection issues with our home network, but maybe it has been the board. Paws crossed the Frankenstorm doesn't give you any troubles.
