Well, then, Charlie says he would like a dose reduction please. Even if we go with 70, that 64 earns a reduction.

I did feed him extra at +1 to slow the drop and then didn't test until he was very anxious about getting a snack at +4. He still has two hours to go before his nadir, so I'm a little anxious.

Especially since I need to go put out a work fire between +5 and +6. Gave him two big spoonfuls of his regular food and will get a number before I go.

He was 70 when I got back about an hour later. Gave him more food, he ate a little bit of it. Will check again in an hour or if he's acting weird.

That seems solidly a dose reduction for sure!

PMPS was up but not hugely. Give him some more food at +1 and grab a +2. And probably a +3. At least tomorrow I can go back to sleep for a while and still get through my day ok.

I know greens make you anxious, but it's great to see this long stretch of green. Feed him a little MC since you can't stay up monitoring.

His normal food is Purina prescription OM, which is 21% carbs, so uh, that's already high carb, I dunno where to go from there when you say MC.

He's doing great, but it definitely makes me anxious since it's so unknown and his patterns are different and I'm scared of keeping him going this long and then he hypos at night while in asleep

You want to add this to his Signature. Sorry, I assumed you were feeding regular low carb food. You would need to add honey or karo to increase the carb%. Can you get a +3?

@Bandit's Mom it seems totally bizarre to me that he would be this low eating such high carb food.

He just asked me for more food. So I hope he'll be ok. I set an alarm for two hours from now. But not sure I'll sleep.

I thought about going from 3.5 to 3 tonight but I know we're supposed to do .25 u but he's definitely coming up with all kinds of new tricks for me

@Bandit's Mom getting off the prednisolone probably helped a lot. That was a long road after the first time I tried and he went from a drop dose to being really sick in the end of February, which resulted in the IBD dx and then scrambling to see if he had lymphoma. He was on a really high dose for a long time. The IM vet radiologist said they didn't think he had IBD, just pancreatitis, so I felt like I could try. And lo he's had enough and is going for dose reductions every few days

His triglycerides have been insanely high. They were over 2000 in fasting blood work this summer and even a high protein low carb diet didn't help (raw/lightly cooked rabbit that was 15% fat).
