Well we got some green tonight! Of course I have to work in the morning.. silly cat.. I think I have decided we're going to try the cooler packing when we do travel. Thank you everyone for all your suggestions. Now we just have to pick out the place we're going to go!

hope you're doing something fun! we got an overnight at the Oregon Gardens resort last year dirt-cheap through Groupon and they let us bring punkin along. ya gotta be creative when you're living with a diabetic cat!

Don't we though? Been missing those green numbers. I'm in love with the mountains and can usually find beautiful sky high cabins about 4-5 hours away from where I live. So, that's where I'm wanting to take Boog on her first trip. She can curl up in front of the fireplace. I took my dog once before and they were awesome about her being there.. haven't tried finding a "cat friendly" place yet... gonna search for it tomorrow!

Just a suggestion...when you are calling around for places that are cst friendly, be sure and ask if they spray pesticides. A lot of inns, hotels, etc, do and I'd be cautious.
