Good morning, LL! Definitely a better start to the day. Zener was hungry and letting me know it rather early. I tried to sleep through his yowling, mewing and snuggling, to no avail. So I got up and tested him (much better than yesterday) and fed him. OMG! He was gobbling down his food. I had to take it up to give him a breather - I didn't want a scarf-and-barf. He finished his 1 oz and went on to polish off another 0.5 oz. Then he RAN down the hall and onto the bed. So now he is napping from his big morning. Tillie wasn't quite so enthusiastic about her food but she did want petting while I did the Sudoku puzzle. That meant I had to write with my right hand (normally I'm left handed). But I got the puzzle done and then she decided she would eat her chicken florentine after all. So all is well here today. Have a good day, everyone!

Good morning Liz! Sounds like Zener is feeling good! That is really great to hear. Sometimes it is better to ignore the numbers for the most part and see how they are feeling. Eating like he is hungry for Zener is a great start! It is amazing how many things you learn to do one handed when you have kitties huh? :lol:

Hi guys .. yes a much better start to the day .. and like melissa said, sometimes we have to forget about the numbers and colors and focus more on how happy our kitties are .. I hope you guys have a great day!

Oops, I just noticed the I had 222 for Zener's AMPS but it was really 365 today. Still better than yesterday. And we are getting some a little bounce-breaking this cycle. I'm sure glad to see that! Especially since I am working at home until noon and can monitor.

Yep, Moonie loves to interrupt many activities, especially if I have the laptop on me--
She can change any situation to her liking-We're their servants!!!

isn't that true - cats just come in and park on your keyboard or stand between your head and the screen! they know they are more important than anything you could possibly be doing! :lol:

zener's coming down nicely today from the 365.

how are you holding up "baching" it with anne gone? not sure what you call a woman when her partner is gone - i teased my husband and son that they were baching it last week and my son went off with an essay on FB about male stereotypes! :lol: perhaps when it's women we already know they are competent! my son would kill me for saying that one! ;-) he minored in women and gender studies.

Hi, Julie, I think "baching it" works just fine! Thanks for asking. This time is MUCH better than in Sept. I'm better with the routine, Zener is doing better, this isn't the first week of classes (after a year of sabbatical, kind of a shock), this is a shorter trip, the dosing is easier (after your dosing video - THANKS!), those pill pockets are wonderful (thanks for that too!). Probably a few more things but I can't think of them right now. :lol: :lol: Your son sounds like a real sweetheart, although maybe your comment hit a little close to the target and that's why he had a big reaction? That's great that he cares about not using gender stereotypes.

Roni: yes, those kitties do like to be in the middle of everything, especially your attention. :lol: :lol:

I just talked to Anne and everything went very well in her meeting and she is ready to come home.

Hi Anne, wow on the 97 for Zener. He and Maggie are close in numbers today. So nice to hear how playful and feeling good and peppy Zener is today. Tillie sounds like a sweetheart, too. Glad to hear Anne's meeting went okay. I bet she can't wait to get home.

Phew! Glad to see he's coming up. I need to get to school so I think he will be fine this afternoon. This is the most that he's eaten in quite a while. Good job, big guy!

Thanks, Ann and Linda! We shaved the dose so as to avoid drama while Anne is out of town but Zener has another idea. This cycle has been beautiful with just a touch of drama. And he absolutely LOVES those pill pockets! What a great treat for him and so easy to give him the zobaline and pepcid. He went chasing after a bird when he went outside. :lol: :lol: :lol: Alles gut im Zeners Weld.
