Happy Fursday!

Today is nice and clear and sunny but cool and the trees are really beginning to get colorful. I have leaves all over everything. It's time to do the first leaf blowing/raking. It will look like it was never done in an hour but it still has to be done or there will be so much it will be impossible to clean up later. I may start on that today.

Racci is feeling good. She hasn't pooped yet but other than that she has all p's. She did poop twice yesterday so may have nothing left yet. Right now she's lying on the window seat napping and looking out every once in a while. Looking very content. She's still running blues and high for her.

Well TTYL. I have some chores to get done.

The green came out so I hope Racci found her surf board and kept it going.

Our leaves just finished falling off our tree yesterday so we'll be doing the leaf duty...
just in time for my neighbors Maple tree which usually lasts another few weeks to fall off her tree and into my yard.

Hi Melanie, Nice numbers for Racci today :mrgreen: Glad she is all Ps now and relaxing while you tackle the leaves. A lot of leaves are on the ground here already and many more to come, our village is an official tree city perfect for any rake-a-holics. Past couple days have been warm up to 80 so we are back to wearing shorts, yet wading through ankle deep leaves everywhere. Tomorrow its back to fall again, then maybe hurricane Sandy effects in another couple days and the leaves will be scattered everywhere... :roll:

That's funny Rhiannon! Your tree. I have hundreds of trees shedding and then the neighbors trees and the forest trees and more than can be counted. :lol: I went out to start it but it was a lost cause. It's still too soon. They're probably falling at the rate of 500 per minute! Every part I cleaned was immediately covered again in minutes. I'll have to wait till it slows down a little. So far, Racci is still green!

Hi Ann, It really is pretty! There are several shades of red, orange, yellow, green, purple, etc all on top of each other and falling. The only problem is that I look at how pretty it is and can't help but think of how much work it is too. :razz:

Hi Leslie, your town sounds similar to mine. Mine would make a confirmed raker hate it. I'm dreading the hurricane. I'll probably lose trees if it comes here. I have tons of loose branches and a couple of trees I don't trust. Winter is sneaking up on me too soon. Last year's storms were a real mess. With all these leaves not done falling, it will be a huge mess again. We have had really nice weather though.
