I’m usually a night owl, so I tend to be up past her nadir, but, last night, I went to lay down at her +5.5 and Ms. Bernie had different plans... for me, anyway - she continued napping. I continued staring at her for 2 hours.
So happy she snuck back to the lagoon when I wasn’t looking, and SUPER surprised there was no bounce this morning!
Nice job getting Bernie to surf overnight! Woo hoo! Hopefully she gets back to work soon.
Looks like she is bouncing now. That means it is time for a nap.
Oof, as excited as I am for her to get out of that blasted lemon tree, she appears to be breaking this bounce with gustooooo.
She came up and very assertively meowed at me at +11.25. I checked her and she was at 195 mg/dL. I told her she had a teensy bit more time to go and gave her 3 pieces of Dr. Elsey's to stave off her hunger - 25 minutes later, she barfed pure stomach acid. I tested her again, and she was already down to 165 mg/dL. I know meter variance is in play, but, still, seeing a 30 mg/dL drop in under half an hour... yikes
I have a feeling we may be in for another PJ party.
