Good morning.

Yesterday we had a mobile vet team (vet and tech) come to our house to check on Mikan. Mikan wasn't too happy about this and they took her to the van that is equipped to do procedures. They were ablet to draw blood and urine. Their exam revealed some dental issues that aren't urgent but need to be taken care of. We will wait to see how bloodwork results look and decide on a plan. They can do the dental in the van. They are very nice and professional. I really liked them. So much less stress for Mikan and me than having to drive and stay in then noisy wait room. Less time consuming as well. Cost was reasonable - actually less than the clinic visit. I guess they have less overheads.

All worked out well, but I was nervous and tired myself out :rolleyes: Mikan was high enough so I went to bed early. Extra hour of sleep was nice and I feel much better today!

I’m so glad the mobile vet worked out well and we will keep everything crossed for good lab results for Mikan. It’s great they can do procedures in a convenient way in their van. It’s good you could get some extra sleep.

I totally understand how emotionally exhausted you were yesterday. It’s so stressful when they/we have to deal with a vet. The stress affects us too ;)

Hope today is less stressful for both of you and Mikan has a gentle slide back to :cool::D

Good morning Staci.
It's a big relief to get that done. We just sit tight now until we get the lab results.
Mikan seems to have recovered nicely - she's pretty much herself this morning.
Busy day at work today - hope Mikan will cooperate!

It was definitely easier than going to the clinic for Mikan. I also liked how they talked to Mikan while handling her.
Thanks for crossing fingers and toes for the lab results! Would be interesting to see how/if her dental issues show up in some way.

I am happy that it all went well with the vet thing. Mikan's so stress-reactive and I get super-stressed when I see her stressed :confused: Hope she clears the lab and we get her dentals done soon!
