Yesterday's Condo :?:

Got what I asked for - Cinco is in the lagoon. His timing stinks! DH had an eye appointment this afternoon in Sacramento and I had to take him, since he's having his eyes dilated. So at +5.5 I gave Cinco some Cowboy Cookout. Then I set up Otto with more CC at +6 and+6.5 and some 8% at +7.5. Hopefully he won't be on the moon when we get home, but I wanted to make sure he'd be safe.

Sasha ate her breakfast and a small snack over several servings, 30-60 minutes apart. Hey, whatever works!

Harvey had another small liquid barf this morning before breakfast, but it didn'the impact his appy. I gave him some of the Total Biotics and Total Enzymes that Ann recommended. He didn't even notice it was in his food. :-D Paws crossed it helps.

I'm typing this on my tablet, and it's a challenge! I can't seem to get the some of the bells and whistles to work, so will tidy this up when I get home.

Sending healing vines to all in need and hugs to all their beans. :YMHUG: :YMHUG: Prayers continue for Amy's DF, Lyresa's DF, Lisa's DF, and Elise's DM.

He sure did dive in....I hope he surfed safely while you were at DH's appointment! I agree about Sasha...as long as the food goes in and stays in, whatever works! I hope Harvey's tummy settles...the spit up thing drives me crazy, because there are so many possible causes for it.

My local eye place offers a new(er) service that uses some fancy-shmancy equipment so you don't have to have your eyes dilated. Of course it costs more, but the dilation gives me such a pounding headache that I always opt to pay the upcharge and not have my eyes dilated.

Have a great evening, Tricia!!

Cinco, Cinco...Sinko!!! Not today you silly boy. Guess he just wanted you to think of him often while you kept the eye appt. in Sacremento!

Or maybe it's a ploy for the yum-yum food. Either way, he's a smart little fella isn't he.

Seems like everyone's got an appy going at your house. Good.

Our kitties have the worst timing. I hope Cinco doesn't bounce tonight. That's good Sasha is eating, even if it takes her a while. I hope the biotics and enzymes help Harvey's tummy. I hope your DH's eye appointment went well.

Yo Cinco, I've got my eye on you! Surf safe, pal.
Rusty

Rusty grazes the way that Sasha is grazing. Sometimes he has to be reminded that he's hungry.

I hope that Cinco doesn't bounce too high. Enjoy the weekend, guys,

Way to go Cinco- Beautiful cycle! Hope you surfed safely for Mom this afternoon! Sending vines to Harvey and Sasha, hope that SEB helps both of them :YMHUG: Personally, I don't like typing on my tablet, I make so many mistakes and the stupid thing tries to autocorrect, you have to really watch it!

Re: 10/24 Cinco PMPS 226

Thanks for watching over Cinco while I was gone, Amy, Carla, Ella, Ruth, and Marilyn.

He was sleeping when I got home and all the Cowboy Cookout had disappeared from Otto with no trace, but the 8% (Wellness Salmon & Trout) was still there.  His PMPS was lower than I expected, but we'll see which way he goes from there! I was wondering if he'd be hungry at dinner time, but nooooo problem!

I found some XXL men's tube socks at a big and tall men's store and put one on Sasha. It goes up under her chin. She's not thrilled but so far is putting up with it. I also got some of the cutest little doggie socks at Petsmart and put one on her right hind leg. We'll see if she manages to get it off. She's trying to do the walk, kick, walk, kick thing to get it off, but since she only has three legs it doesn't work very well and she falls down a lot! I try not to laugh, but it is funny! She's eaten about 1/3 of her dinner so far. She's also munched on some TD. I'll keep going up and reminding her to eat. Sounds like she and Rusty are on the same page. It can be right next to her, but she doesn't take a bite until I put it directly under her nose.

Amy, they have a lot of fancy-shmancy equipment at Kaiser, but they do still dilate the eyes for some tests. Mark wanted to find out if he's a candidate for Lasik. He's always had great distance vision, but when he started needed reading glasses a few years back, the astigmatism he had, which had not been a problem before, began to affect his distance vision, and it drives him crazy. He'd like to get that corrected and only need reading glasses. They said he is a candidate, and now he just has to process all the pros and cons and decide what to do. I had Lasik in 1998 - I was 20-400 prior and 20-25 after! In the past few years, my vision has regressed slightly and I'm between 20-35 and 20-40 now. Can still drive legally without glasses, but since I get a pair free every two years, I have a pair for driving and for things like reading the scoreboard at the bowling alley. That Lasik was the second best thing I've ever done for myself, medically (the first was getting my back "fixed").

There was a lot of excitement in our neck of the woods this morning. Don't know if it made the national news. There was a policeman shot in Sacramento around 10 am, and as luck would have it, this took place about a mile from where Mark's 1:30 pm appointment was! Fortunately, we were able to take side roads and avoid traffic issues. One of the reasons traffic wasn't worse is that the suspects had gone up I-80, carjacking vehicles as they went (and shooting one guy that wouldn't turn his car over - they got it anyway), to Auburn, where they shot another cop. Just about every law enforcement officer in Northern CA was converging on Auburn to find them. They got the passenger, a woman, but the man eluded them for 4-5 hours. In the end, they took him alive, but there are two dead sheriff's deputies, another wounded, and a civilian whose condition hasn't been released. I suspect it isn't good, as he was shot in the head. At this point, no one has said what caused it in the first place. The officer just walked up to a "suspicious" vehicle, and the guy shot him and took off! Scary world we live in.

I left Mark in Sac. The friend that he does consultant work for called as we were about to have a late lunch and begged him to come help - his biggest client had a virus on his computer network! So we scarfed our sandwiches and Mark went off with Bryan while I came home to tend to the kitties. Made it just a little late for Cinco's shot. Guess the problem is a big one, as he's still there. So I'm gonna make myself something light to eat, do some dishes, and read some condos. Hope everyone else is having more fun this Friday night!

ETA: Mark just called. They got the problem under control, but there's a new one. The business is a construction company, and somebody locked the gate on their way out. ohmygod_smile The lock has been changed recently and Bryan hasn't gotten his new key, so they're waiting for someone to come let them out! :o  It's Friday night, so they're having a hard time finding someone with a key!

Re: 10/24 Cinco PMPS 226

Oh my gosh, what a crazy day for you guys hahaha. Hopefully tomorrow is a little bit quieter!

Sometimes I really want to put those socks on Shylo just to see him try to get them off, but I can live vicariously through you instead. P:

Emily, it didn't take her long. Now I have to figure out where she ditched it. Fortunately I bought two packages, so I have 7 more socks!

Cinco is surfing yellow again. Hope he does this again tomorrow night so we can enjoy the dinner and cards with friends that got postponed last week.

Here's hoping Cinco complies with your wishes for tomorrow night. It sounds like you all had quite a day!! The good news is it looks like you will get to sleep earlier than usual. ;-)
