All is nice-n-calm in TrixieLand...appy is still very happy, gelcap has gone down the last several time with relative ease, Trix is feeling snuggly and spunky. I haven't seen her bunny-kick a toy again, but even back in the day, bunny-kicking was a special event. Just seeing it once was a miracle to me...and hopefully it's just the beginning of the return of bunny-kicking! It has taken her a long time to regain her confidences, so every time I see a little old behavior return - the kind that most people outside this forum would think was nothing - it brings me great joy, and I love that my LL family understands and shares in it. Thank you, everyone!
No real news about my Dad, either...it's just wait-n-see until next Tuesday. I think he was feeling a little icky yesterday because my Mom made him get a flu shot. Both he and I are flu-shot skeptics, but at the same time, I don't know what I think with regards to the current state of his immune system given the chemo. I certainly wasn't going to fight my Mom on that issue. I know in the past, the few times he's caved and gotten the flu shot, he's gotten the flu (or flu-like symptoms...what's the difference???), so this time he was not excited about getting it at all. But, it's done...it helped calm my Mom down on that particular subject.
I'm off today....chores and such. Have a great day, LL!
